Wife got a new daily and boat hauler- 34 MPG sp far
+My EU spec 2022 Mercedes C200 Coupé 4 Matic averages 7.2 l/100km from new to 75,000 km. My iPhone says this is 32.67 mpg (US) and 39.23 mpg (UK) as an average of 46,203 miles (regardless of right or left traffic). I would guess this would be about half highway half commute, including cold starts and stationary consumption at service / repair centers. So; this must be a bit better on highway, a bit worse in city. I can see about 6+ l/100 km (39+ mpg US, 47+ mpg UK) temporarily, at favorable highway conditions.
My wife’s EU spec 2023 KIA X-Ceed manages about 1 l/100 km better so that would be roughly 38 US and 45.5 UK mpg. According to Mercedes, my car would consume 1l/100 km less without 4 Matic. If this is correct, RWD versions should be on par with the FWD KIA.
My 2015 Harley Davidson Road King was averaging 5.6 l/100 km (42 mpg US, 50.4 mpg UK) solo, loaded, touring.
Its not. I daily a F150 2.7L but its on 33s with 5star tuning so it only get 3MPG better. Luckily the wife has a Tesla so we use that as often as we can nowadays.@SkyLumen54 I hope that isn't your daily driver with today's gas prices.
Spring bypass for more efficiency! Its not. I daily a F150 2.7L but its on 33s with 5star tuning so it only get 3MPG better. Luckily the wife has a Tesla so we use that as often as we can nowadays.
I just did my first fill up with the Ram and it was $185 for 30gallon! Nuts!
I feel you. My commute is ~175 miles a day. That includes getting my high schooler to class, though.I drive a lot for work (about 1,000 miles/month)
Ouch. Last time gas hit about $5/gallon, I was doing about 100 miles per day.I feel you. My commute is ~175 miles a day. That includes getting my high schooler to class, though.
That sounds brutal.I feel you. My commute is ~175 miles a day. That includes getting my high schooler to class, though.
