Does anybody know happened to Oveready? (Out of stock for several years)

Very nice, Mr. Gardener.
Love the lights, love the mug 😀

They will be missed! I was still waiting for the WASPs to make a comeback.

Every interaction that I had with them has been nothing less than pleasant!

Terrific machining, everything from their delrin tailguards for Surefires, and clips, to their BOSS lights.

I have a couple of BOSSes that I programmed down for runtime rather than impressing the neighbors (or for a Tom Cruise movie) and they make fine EDCs.

I'm very sad to hear that. I sure hope Dan is doing okay. His products have given me a lot of enjoyment over the years.

I've been a fan since the bore-batch days - matter of fact walked the dog tonight with my bored C3 / V5.1 Triple, one of my favorite lights. I just checked the links I saved to .mp4 files for temperature settings, fast switch settings, etc.; those are all gone now. Never got around to figuring out how to save all that as videos. I'm pretty happy with what I have loaded in my BOSS and Triple, but I hope lux-rc will still be around if I ever need it.

There’s still Oveready stuff I’d love to get and the stuff I do have is cherished.
Was just using my V4 H3N HML XPG2 4000K triple (that’s a mouthful) last night. It’s such a fantastic drop in and the tint is just amazing. At (rated) 80 CRI it is nicer than any current super high CRI LED in actual use in the great outdoors, absolutely beautiful LEDs.

It is sad to see they are gone. I have a few dropins and a few P60 lights. Still like the stuff.

My guess is it has something to do Lux RC is from Russia. The driver boards are great, but it is currently the "wrong" country.
Additionally today the people prefer buying cheapo China Flashlights instead of a cool designed product with great service.

Yes, I was most active in the hobby during the peak of that. Out of curiousity, I dropped the Bore Batch data as it was coming out, into Excel - you could see the bell curve of popularity for that process, and how it tapered out. I have a few of their bored lights (most flashaholics worth their lumens wanted the extra runtimes from 18mm cells), and they are all of course satisfactory. They ran a little on the 'tight' side, which was just fine by me. /Sometimes/ certain cells wouldn't fit, but they were conscientious about the issue & were clear in their recommendations. They didn't bore the older Z bodies, so I had to go elsewhere for those services - with mixed results.

From tail shouds and HDS clips to BOSS. Sad to see them go.

One of my favorite OR pics; their DD XP-G triple:

I can't do the same justice re: photography, but mine sits in an 18-mm OR-bored C2.

They had so many fun and useful products for flashaholics. The WASP would be something I would love to see re-produced by someone. Such an amazing design!
