    See if you can find a Quark mini 123. The company has been sold, but the lights are still around. It is the smallest 123 I know of... It is a twisty, so no tail switch. :(

    I’m a huge Quark fan as well. How well does the clip stay on? I have never had luck with lights whose clips are held on through pressure.

    So it has been two months and I love this saw more and more I use it. I have ran about 8-10 tanks of gas with zero issues. I sharpen the chain every tank of gas, but I was wondering how often do you flip your bar?

    Recommend me a new EDC light

    I will second both the HDS, which is my edc, and the Malkoff lights. Although you may also want to look at Surefire p60 host with a Malkoff drop-in (I own a number of these and they are great). A little too big for me for an edc, but a great setup. I use them when I hike at night.

    Vinh will mod nearly any light for you. He fixed my maritac copper. It cost $40, the same as a new light, but i love the patina on my light so it was worth it to me.

    I looked at used before my purchase of a new 250 and the decent ones were only $75-$100 less than a new one. I agree, unless it was from a friend, I would buy new and only cry once.

    I have always sharpened by hand with a flat guide (Oregon file), but as this is a “real” saw I was looking into a filing guide...anyone here use a Granberg file guide or something similar?

    I guess I should get another chain...the dealer offered me one but I have never broken a chain so I didn’t think I needed an extra. Rotation is a great idea...keep the info coming, greatly appreciated.
