    First Impressions Skilhunt H150 V4 with 519a 5000K LED.

I think the Skilhunt UI is the most user friendly choice for a newbie. I recommend teaching them to use Physical Lockout. The H150 V4, uses a buck/boost driver.. it is more efficient, and runs cooler, than the V3 Linear driver.. The optic has not changed, imo the beam is excellent, and the...

    First Impressions Skilhunt H150 V4 with 519a 5000K LED.

Received this Skilhunt H150 V4 with the new Buck Boost Driver that promises to be more efficient, with more constant output, cooler running, and with higher maximum output than the previous version. The 5000K color temperature and neutral tint are excellent for a task light. The beam has nice...

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

I hope you enjoy the KR1AA clip option. Fwiw Vaseline does not conduct electricity. But it will probably get scraped out of the way from the pressure of closing the tailcap. No harm in trying.

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

good warning.. might be prudent to put a bit of solder on the ends of the solder wick, so they dont fray. It is still in the testing phase, but the solder wick spacer and KR1AA clip are working so well, Im inclined to keep them installed. Im keeping the tail closed and changing batteries...

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

so for a Hanklight D4K with clip, cost is $42, so you would pay 0 shipping, 10.7% duty in Norway, and 25% Vat, for a total of $58 correct?

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

$400 in fees for a $45 light? Are you sure there is not some sort of misunderstanding? Emisar shipping is free for items over $40

    The Official Zebralight Thread

data posted by krug1972 shows his Opple measured some SC70 Frequencies (547Hz and 400Hz), that are similar to what thefreeman is reporting: ~400~1000Hz ripple

I dont have a problem, I can stop any time I want to. How about you?

have not tried, sounds very nice.. I went as far as 2700K, and then recently switched to a Red Mix:

    The Official Zebralight Thread

Clic to read the whole SC70 driver Analysis posted by thefreeman: Here are the Cliff Notes: "Conclusion To improve this driver, Zebralight needs to: * get rid of low modes visible flicker * Get rid of the ~400~1000Hz Riple by increasing the PWM control signal frequency * fix the low modes...

My next AA/14500 Anduril light has been announced

Note that on early versions of the D3AA the O ring sits lower. Newer versions have the O ring sitting higher, leaving plenty of room for the clip, and the O ring remains completely covered by the tailcap:

My next AA/14500 Anduril light has been announced

yes, it goes on easily, and there is enough room to fit the top of the clip over a jeans seam, snugly.. easier to slide all the way into the upper bend of the clip with slacks that have thinner material than jeans.. but both materials work fine

Compare and Contrast two versions of XTAR 1.5V AA LiIon with USB-C

thank you for the warning, I have heard that claim too, but without any specific details about timeframe, nor any evidence referenced That is why I am doing my own long term storage test for the next few months using the version that has measurable Voltage change alongside Eneloop for...

My next AA/14500 Anduril light has been announced

I agree ;-) at close range Im fine with half that output I did the dedome of my existing H150.. the bezel came off easily, it is not glued the malkoff straight light holder looks like a good option.. clipping a straight light such as a D3AA to a baseball cap, can serve a similar function

My next AA/14500 Anduril light has been announced

thanks for your thoughts I agree the H150 switch placement is ideal for a headlamp I unscrew the tailcap to prevent accidental activation when not on my head.. I prefer the H150 as my car light because it has less Riple than my Zebra.. I dont have single channel D2, my dual channel D2 is my...

Compare and Contrast two versions of XTAR 1.5V AA LiIon with USB-C

thank you for sharing that insight.. it has helped me appreciate the value of 1.5V LiIon with constant 1.5V output even more I also like that 1.5V LiIon weigh less than Eneloop Plus I appreciate the convenience of the 1.5V LiIon that offer built in USB charging.. My Zebras run particularly well...
