    Sold/Expired Boss 70 combo and a frelux

Can somebody please buy that BOSS so I won't?

    Storm Checkin

Duluth, GA (NE Metro Atlanta) here - Helene brought a lot of wind and rain, flooding, downed trees, etc. like a lot of other places, but I feel blessed. Only lost power a few times for a few minutes and no flooding even though we are near the Chattahoochee River. Got to use a BOSS and an HDS but...

Instructions here for getting serial number from the BOSS and looking up the specs online (I'm assuming it is a v5.1 driver): https://zeroair.org/2021/01/30/torchlab-boss-ha-aluminum-lux-rc-371-v2-0-flashlight-guide/

Does anybody know happened to Oveready? (Out of stock for several years)

I too placed an order with Oveready this year when they had the reverse taper aluminum 35 bodies in stock. I received a payment notification from PP but no communications from Oveready. I did receive the package a few days later as expected. I just looked in my email history and I've received...

    Going gear rocks

My first few real flashaholic lights were bought from GG in 2011 when they were still near Cobb Parkway. I always got 10% off if I mentioned my CPF username. Nope haven't forgot about Marshall. I still need to visit the store in Woodstock. And get some chicken fingers from Cane's.

Interest Thread: HDS Stainless Steel CLICKY

My first HDS was a Clicky - and my second, and third... It would be hard for me to pass up a SS Clicky, so I'm in.

I'm building a new TITANIUM flashlight, I'd love your feedback!

My OCD says that the clip needs to index with the rocker switch when the light is together. If they don't line up I will always know they don't. Other than that I would like to see high CRI and low battery notification (like when an HDS blinks to let you know it's getting low). I really like...

    New Mini MKIII's for 2021

I got my replacement Ti Mini MKIII and I can easily change brightness with it, even one-handed. Cheers to 4/7s for the quick resolution.

I agree - FDE is especially nice looking: https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/what-do-you-edc-with-your-hds.450397/#post-5237249 EDIT: I was unaware of that thread but there are some great pics in it. I may have to resurrect it...

LOL I understand that the colored finish wears fairly easily so I just can't bring myself to take it out of the bag. I remember other colored finishes since then: red, FDE, blue, forest green maybe? I'm not the only one with a Cerakote HDS in the safe.

    New Mini MKIII's for 2021

I haven't looked at that thread before, but I just spent an hour there. I certainly will.

Does anyone else miss the old packaging? It feels homemade and small-batch to me. Good grief, these two lights are almost teenagers and I've never carried either.

    New Mini MKIII's for 2021

I received a quick response from Darksucks to confirm my address. They are sending a replacement for the acknowledged timing problem, and a return label for the defective light. Cheers to them! I don't own any of their Alpha/Delta lights, but do own a few 4/7s lights.

    New Mini MKIII's for 2021

I have this same issue in a recently bought Mini MK-III. I emailed Darksucks when I first got it, and they sent me a video of how to get into programming mode - not my issue at all. I just want to change output levels, and "a timing issue too short for humans to achieve" is right on the money...

Dark Sucks blue anodize titanium clip for HDS, if anyone is wondering. I see they are out of stock on their site currently, but it is a great clip. Rarely I do have to give it a little bend to keep it at the tension I like.

    HDS Systems #23

I bought this Hi-CRI Clicky circa 2012, carried for 6 years, then started carrying an Oveready BOSS. I went back to carrying this Clicky again last week and the BOSS is now in a drawer. I've got newer Clickies and Rotaries and other EDC lights but this one is my perennial favorite. I use...
