    What watch you're wearing?

I decided to build myself a 'Milsub' homage using parts sourced from AliExpress including a NH38 movement. It's on a Zuludivers 1973 elasticated NATO strap.

Can anyone identify this drop-in for a Maglite?

It is a Malkoff LED Adaptor with one of their drop-ins. maglite-led-adapter-universal Unscrew the two parts to remove the drop-in, check the markings on the drop-in on Malkoff's website to confirm the voltage.

Power outage in parts of Europe...

Purely speculation as to the cause of the failure plus the article is certainly written by someone with an agenda.

Power outage in parts of Europe...

At about 12.30pm I was in a Spanish supermarket yesterday when the power went out, unsurprisingly I was the only person in the store with a flashlight! I used my AA Sofirn C01S to finish off picking up the items that I'd gone for, cashier totted up the total on a calculator and I paid cash. At...

    A flying spotlight

Of course the million dollar question isn't answered, 'How long will it stay up for without being tethered to an electrical ground source supply?'

    Anyone heard from @bykfixer?

    Any other motorcycle riders here?

My Panzer Traktor has just turned 10 years old, I absolutely love getting out on it! Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul! Stay shinny side up Raggie!

Recommend me a flashlight please - for a Detective

As a retired LEO I have a couple of suggestions for you, for normal use I'd recommend a Malkoff MD2 with their M361 LMH V2 which has outputs of 35/250/750 lumens, which will cover you for indoor or outdoor use. The MD2 will run on a single 18650 or 2 x CR123's. As long as you don't wear your...

    Is it time?

Get yourself an HDS, buy once, cry once. I bought the Tactical 325 lumen rotary used from a seller on this forum and have no regrets.

    What watch you're wearing?

Ok so it's not on my wrist! This Star Dennison Hunter pocket watch was acquired by my Grandfather before the First World War, so probably around 1910. He used it for fifty years and passed away in the early 1960's, it was passed on to my father and it has been in a draw for the past sixty...

Flashlights in TV shows and movies (Part 4)

Adam Savage has shown his current EDC flashlight on his youtube channel. It appears to be a Lumintop Tool AA 2.0.

    Rated R label needed

I discovered the 'Ignore' member feature. So far it's working well.

    What watch you're wearing?

This watch building lark is getting quite addictive, after making a black face metal case MoonSwatch I decide to also make myself a white face version. I don't like the moon phase dial on the originals so went for this option featuring Snoopy and Woodstock!

    What watch you're wearing?

I've had the stainless version of the Seiko Sportura Chronograph 100m since new, so it's about 20-25 years old. I always like the look of the black bodied version and took the opportunity to buy the case in black and the leather strap as New Old Stock, both original Seiko parts in their...

Looking for a 21700 with both +/- on the same end.

Nitecore produce some 21700 batteries with the +/- at the same ends, you'd have to check the dimensions. Nitecore 21700 +/- batteries.
