Decent keychain lights that run on AAA

Lumintop EDC01 Fenix E01 V2 Olight i3E (i3s if you can find it) Maratac AAA Astrolux A01 Skilhunt E3A another Thrunite I think they're all slightly big for a keychain now that I use an i1R 2, but if you prefer AAA then they will be ay least that big. The Olight i3E only has a single mode...

Anybody getting the new Olight M2R Pro tomorrow?

It's neutral white. I have one and I'm quite liking it. Posted a review on here last night, followed up with an audio boosted version of the same. It's overall pretty good. My only real gripes are 1) the bezel is too aggressive (but since it's specifically been designed with this in mind, it...

    Olight M2R Video Review

I've also posted another version of this with increased gain on the audio, available at https://youtu.be/VrXBKJCppeQ. It sounds a bit more muddled, but louder. I'll figure out what went wrong with the mic placement for the next video.

    Olight M2R Video Review

I made a review and comparison video of the new M2R Pro. It features some comparisons to the M2R, in addition to the Seeker 2 Pro. Some beamshots near the end, with a brief mintage of the stepdown (I have another video of the whole turbo stepdown period on my channel too)...

New Olight Seeker 2 Pro - Video Review

According to the site, 3x Cree XP-L HD CW. It wasn't available when I did the video.

New Olight Seeker 2 Pro - Video Review

A few people either commented or messaged some questions about the light and comparisons with other lights. I've added a second video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjnBa7OLsWI&t=

New Olight Seeker 2 Pro - Video Review

Hi, Olight announced the new Seeker Pro 2 3200 lumen light, powered by a 21700. I managed to snag a review sample from Olight Australia. Sorry if there is a post already - I searched, but the Tapatalk app didn't find anything. The damn thing is amazing. They want to make it a torch for every...

Olight Australia - M2R Flash Sale

Just letting you know Olight Australia are running a flash sale on the M2R warrior next week (June 12th, 8pm to 10 pm Sydney time). I previously reviewed the M2R and quite like it. https://www.olightstore.com.au/flash-sale/

    Olight M2R Review (1x18650, XHP35 HD)

Sorry mods, can I please request that this be moved to the LED Flashlights forum? It's been a while since I had posted and I forgot.

    Olight M2R Review (1x18650, XHP35 HD)

For inclusion in the reviews forum. I was sent this light directly by Adam from Olight Australia. They’ve got a new store in Australia to handle our domestic orders, which I think is pretty cool. Sorry for posting and then finishing it via edits - the site was loading weirdly and I've had so...

    Keyring flashlight help

That being said, also consider the Fenix UC02. It's tiny and USB rechargeable. Much better on a keychain than aight using a AAA battery.

    Keyring flashlight help

I'd suggest keeping the two lights - a headlamp in the car, and a single AAA light in the key ring. Either the i3S or the Thrunite Ti3. If you go for the Olight, but a separate keychain clip, as their one breaks easily and the light will disappear. It's literally the only problem with that...

Review: Olight S1R (2016.10.05 updated with info on new S1R version)

Re: Review: Olight S1R Thanks for writing such a good review. I remember writing a review on this light also, but I can't find it for some reason. :( I wanted to ask, does your light turn on without fail every time? I was trying to find my review to add a note after a long period of use, but...

Giveaway!!! Free Klarus Tactical Light XT2CR for Test...

Personally, I love dual tail switches. More importantly (to me), it's very similar to the XT11S, but without a side switch. I absolutely love the XT11S and previously reviewed it. I think it is one of the best lights I've ever used. My only issue was that the side switch would activate it in...

    IT'S GIVEAWAY TIME! March Contest

I like that it uses both AA and 14500. Would be cool if it had built in recharging that didn't add to the size.

    IT'S GIVEAWAY TIME! January Contest

Well, it's kind of for Christmas. I've got an LD41 on the way as a survey win. It's a light I had always wanted since the AA format was great as an emergency light, but I couldn't justify it since it was too big for carry and regularly use.

    Olight X7 Review (3x XHP70, 4x HDC 18650, 9000 lumens)

Thanks for that. With the Dremel, I still used a chopstick - I basically added an isopropanol wipe to one end with a rubber band, and popped the other end into the Dremel. I suspect it would work fine with the chopsticks alone, but I was hesitant to scrape it too vigorously. I used the...
