    Well it sure made it look dark, so it definitely tarnishes it. Everything I read said baking soda and warm water until it doesn't solve anymore will make it brown, which it did.     New battery, top is totally uneven. Should I return it?

    I just got there battery today and the top of it isn't even close to being straight. ​Is that going to be an issue? Actually, looking at the pictures full size it appears maybe just the casing is pulled up higher on one side?

    Well, I'm back. Went to charge my battery, which was reading 3.8v on the charger, and it's only charging at 496mA. Seriously, what the hell is going on with this thing? I guess I'll go post in the Xtar forum. I'm going to put the charger in my Blendtec pretty soon.
