    When did you order your HDS?

    I waited almost a year. Thought I lost mine this past weekend - didn't know how much I liked it until I thought it was gone. Glad it's back. Best way to deal is - forget about it and one day it'll just show up!

    The beam quality is just one of the notable strong points so, I believe you will be very pleased with that. Some of the other strengths - you already mentioned. Enjoy.

    Re: Opening the light to re-center the emitter. Is this generally hard (and wise)... I say leave it alone as well (unless it is way off in which case, call and see IF that is a warranty claim) Real use - no effect. Beamshots onto a white wall is probably the only scenario you'd notice anything.

    Have four(4) EDC the 200 rotary. Use the 120 hcri when I need it. The 140 goes in the woods with me (farther throw) the 170 sits in my safe - probably the one I use the least as in, not at all.

    I just learned something (I guess) I tell mine apart because my 200 is rotary, my 120 is an hcri and the LED is orangeish, my 140 has the GD emitter and is white, which leaves my 170 (process of elimination)

    Both 200's have the cree XP-G emitter so they will be identical. The 140 has the Golden Dragon emitter More throw and slightly narrower beam. Truthfully I'd say the 200 has as much throw but because it has such well balanced spill you don't notice it as much.

    Hands down best quality single cr123 light.

    Huge post (for me) I have a lot of high end lights but really like my HDS - tried to read what was available on McGizmo's sticky, can't really make heads or tails. I think I'll just keep using and enjoying that which I have come to appreciate - my HDS in pocket.

    Got my rotary (from Henry) couple weeks ago. It was a 9 month wait but, my buddy (same light) was 13 months. From what I hear, times have gotten much better on the ones ordered after I ordered mine (Dec 2012)

    I can look. Don't remember the nomenclature right now. I bought my son a USB rechargeable EDC last Xmas. Great light. He loves it. Total EDC size and bright as hell. Great light.

    I know some have adopted a clip-on-clip from one of their Fenix's over to their rotary.
