Need a D-Cell recomendation
Have you considered using Eneloop AAs with D cell adapters? Eneloop are by far the best Ni-MH batteries I've come across for keeping their charge. Something like this maybe? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0008D5FRW/?tag=cpf0b6-20- Exostencil
