    SureFire E-Series Addicts Unite!

Thank you. I have the same feeling. From 2007 til now, I only known 1 camo E2e for sale (within China) publicly, I'm lucky enough to seize the opportunity. Hope you'll run into one someday.

    SureFire E-Series Addicts Unite!

Got two fantastic E-series lights recently. An E1e WineLight and a camouflaged E2e. That E2e WineLight II is not mine, belongs to a friend. Really love this camouflaged E2e, haha.

    SureFire E-Series Addicts Unite!

Except tailcap and marking, all the E1E are three-cambered body and lotus-like bezel while some E1e are the same, some earlier version E1e are three-flat bodies body or two-cambered body(with z57 tailcap) with flat bezel.

    Finally got my titanium M1...

Agreed, M1 was pretty cool. So I got one once my friend was done with it. The shape of the M1 in the pics above is not exactly the same as the original version. The outer diameter of the neck is thicker than that of the original version in order to fit the tri-led drop-in. The same version as...

    SureFire E-Series Addicts Unite!

You're right. Stone washed one is really friendly to everyday carry, no fingerprints, not afraid of scratches. :D

Home Made "Steam Punk" Flashlight :)

Welcome!! Big! Big bulb, big COB!!! Personally I agree with "parametrek", you probably should look out for the COB.

    SureFire E-Series Addicts Unite!

About this batch Ti (alloy) E-series. I made 108 3-flat E1e (half-half raw machine finish and stone washed finish). Other 5 styles made about 30 in total. No Surefire mark on all the lights. I lasered my own logo (initials of my name) inside the clip groove, but there is no logo on the lights...

    Z52 disassembly?

I've had a similar situation once. But it's not too tight, and I'm not afraid to leave scratch, so it's easy to take it out. It's true that there were imprint of glue between the top two pieces. I've disassembled lots of z52, only happened once.

    Z52 disassembly?

Like "id30209" said, there’s nothing holding it once screw is removed, you can just push the rubber cap a little, the conductive part shoule be move a little, should be fall out. Or you can use the spring to drag it out, or use inertance to knock itself downward...

    Z52 disassembly?

The inside of z52 is like this. After you take out the screw, usually the conductive part (the one with the 0-ring ) will just drop out. Then you will see a black plastic ring (white one in the pic), you need a tool to screw it out. That's it.

Titanium E series, done. Record posts.

Thank you! AA body is suitable for single AA or 17500. It can use a battery 50mm long with 17mm diameter. With out adapter, one AA will be a little loose but still useable. With one AA, use a LED drop-in, the input is 0.8-4.2v so one AA is supported, current on LED end is about 250mA, single...

Introducing Mockbug: The story of my first flashlight build.

I agree with you, making a flashlight is not the whole purpose. Sometimes the process is more fun. When we see the flashlight in the future, the process is what we think of. The dimpled version looks better, but if there are some matching on the tailcap would be great. You need to consider the...

Introducing Mockbug: The story of my first flashlight build.

Nice!! It's handy and, how to say, tasteful, I think. I guess it was pretty hard to machine steel on this "hobby grade lathe"... Considering the thickness and material, it should not be very light? Do you plan to design and machine some anti-skid knurls or stripes?
