    K60vn for real life usage. You can't beat the perfect beam, hotspot, and thermal management. Shaved dome of course.

    Just saying to potential buyers, I have 3 of these, and the sand colored, shaved dome one, is my favorite thrower for real life usage. T6 might be brighter, but you can run the K60 all day long without barbecuing your fingers. At distance of 100yd or so you cannot tell which is brighter anyways.

    Re: The Lounge Well after months of gathering parts and thinking about how to do it, I've managed to put together a mining helmet with 1300 lumens and 12 hour run time. Yaay, I hope the mines go for it. Talking about a minimum of 1000 units just in a 25 mile radius.

    Re: The Lounge yes. you can even charge eneloop AA's at 1.5 v.... may hurt battery life, but I haven't noticed (eneloop=1.2v)

    IMO, your best bet for a pocket searchlight is the TX25C2vn. It's small and nearly as impressive a thrower as the S200C2vn.

    Bump. This is my favorite thrower. Inexpensive, yet build quality on par with ZL. $210 gets you a light indistinguishable at 100m from the T6vn, with MUCH better heat management. If you run your thrower for more than 5 minutes on HI, you need to buy one of these.
