    I'll take #3 if it's still available. Is the red LED not working due to wiring complication or is it that the diffused cap makes it too dim? (all I was thinking is that as I work as an LEO I could still use a dim red light.) Thanks :)

    I use the SRT7 as a Patrol light in the UK, and have been very happy with it since Jan 2014. I use it with a great holster too that enables hands free use. I'll post a slightly more in depth reply after my shift!

    I'm not sure what your needs are, but aside from the larger lights people are suggesting, you could consider the Nitecore Tube - but that won't blow your socks off, depends on your needs?
