Which discontinued flashlights do you wish were still made?

And I will argue that more features on an existing or new model is not necessarily an improvement. It's mostly just been brighter, more powerful units of their existing lights. No interesting or special designs - like the TK-models of old. I look at the current TK-series (15 lights), and I can't...

    Who Is A Fan: Rosy

    As much as I think I won't like rosy tints, I can't and won't say for sure until I have tried one. @jon_slider I really like the NTG50 2700K you show above - what can I expect (CCT / DUV) from a 2x NTG35 2700K + 2x 4200K mix? Looking at the D4V2.

    Who Is A Fan: Rosy

I don't own a "rosy" flashlight (NTG, FFL emitters etc.), but from what I have seen of a wide array of beamshots, I do not like it. I am very much Team Yellow, which should be a positive DUV-value, but limited from to around 1000K to sub-5000K (which is the CCT-range I like the most anyway)...

Music to the Marrow (To What Are You Listening?)

I will likely never understand the Youtube algorithm, but sometimes I find the random things it suggests / recommends to be quite good. ^ I like rapid electronic beats in the background when driving, gaming or doing physical work.

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Thank you, everyone. That's the DeWalt DCV100 and all discussed accessories ordered. 👍

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

In case I was bad at explaining, as I usually am, here's a picture of what and where I meant: The distance from the center of the trigger to the center of the handle behind it when decompressed was roughly 11 cm* on my DeWalt DCF922. * Duh, I only measured 1 side, which was 7 cm, and didn't...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

A random question, if I may - what is the distance from the trigger to the back of the handle on the blower? I was planning to use a worm-drive hose clamp around the trigger, so the blower can run on its own with the option to adjust the speed. But there are X * Infinity + a black hole / 3,14 -...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Thanks, but that doesn't ship to me. Newer model does, but it's 40 USD + 48 USD shipping + taxes and import duties. By the time I would get that one in my hands, I would have spent less on the DeWalt compact blower. And running continously is the whole point here, to have it blowing away...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Thank you very much. I had to check, and I see I already have that one. ...Would have been easier to just check my browser bookmarks (I save a bookmark for everything I buy online, for later reference if needed), because it was listed there as well - gotta love that excellent hindsight, because...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

As expected. We got a tiny electrical duster for computers at work, which works the same way. 🙂 Though I foresee my use to be to turn the tool on Low, place it close to the work area, and let it just continuously blow away the dust for me. I am especially missing some "blasting" when using my...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Excellent! Thank you for pictures. With that 5 Ah attached, I got a sense of the scale too. ❤️ I figure I will need to put a filter of some sort on the intake, especially when sanding, and use a hose clamp or something in the trigger (and glue the safety switch open, as one does ^^). But now I...

Which discontinued flashlights do you wish were still made?

...I thought I had added photos here, but apparently I forgot about it. Well, here they are: Fenix TK76 with 3 battery carriers and 12x 18650 (Panasonic NCR18650B), plus TK75 2018 also with with 3 carriers and 12x 18650 (Nitecore HP1835HP). Getting 12x 18650 cells on the TK76 was a...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Hey, kids knows better than us adults - seeing solutions where we find none. ^^ But you should get him something like a Kärcher WD 3 S vacuum - remove the bag, and let him suck up all the LEGOs into the steel container for storage. Cleaning and storing all in one. 😁 Another question on the...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

Thank you, sounds like it's exactly what I want then. 😎 Would definitely NOT use something like that indoors, no (already have a vacuum cleaner* with various hoses, nozzels and adapters for that). As I said above I am working outside with this, and the wind isn't exactly a consistent and...

Have you chosen one brand's power-tools platform?

I need some opinions here - I am looking for something to blow away dust from my work space (router, orbital sander). I am working outside with this, and the wind isn't exactly a consistent and reliable source. Would prefer not to break out the air compressor for the very occasional use I have...

    Work wear

I spoke (typed) too soon on what gloves I had for use with the angle grinder. I thought I had Tegera 17 (left), but the ones I have are Hestra Pro 73760 Kobolt FR (right). From the manufacturer: I haven't used them yet other than tried them on (haven't used an angle grinder since I bought...

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

It depends whether the parcel gets stopped in customs, and what the shipping papers says the content values are. For the most part, parcels from Convoy and Emisar has NOT been stopped, so I'm only paying whatever the order value is. To be perfectly honest, I have long since given up on trying...

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

So you're not residing in the USA? If you are, then Jackson Lee ( https://jlhawaii808.com/ ) is the Emisar US-reseller, and he is supposedly cheaper on the shipping to the locals. Hank Wang (Emisar owner) says he doesn't ship flashlights with batteries for safety reasons. And because there are...

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

The SFT-70 4000K is fairly new, isn't it? I don't remember seeing it available when I bought my Convoy M21H just a month ago. I bought mine with SFT-70, 3000K, reading how the 5000K and 6500K were both CRI 70 or so. Please tell us what you think of it, when you buy the M26D. I have been back...
