Discontinued things you still wish were made today

I long miss the days of a simple washing machine. -put clothes in. -add detergent. -select water level. -select mode of agitation. -start and wait. It was basically a full up with water, agitate to clean, drain and spin off excess water. NOW, you have all this bullsh*t where it weighs the...

Well, none of this sounds good.

    Modern. 380 rounds vs 9mm

I say the same thing about children and their parents. There are many people out there that have no business having offspring.

So, have no others yet received the SC70 or is it the least talked about ZL ever? I'm really interested in hearing feedback from others.

Are we still talking flashlight lube or did you move on to something else? 😜

    Comprehensive Grease and Lube Thread

Haha, these exotic lube threads crack me up. I'm still using a tube of General Lube from Radio Shack that's a least 20-years old. I've never had an O-Ring failure or leak from a light that wasn't supposed to leak due to the lube.

Do you use C or D size batteries?

I have a Malkoff modded C-Mag and D-Mag that use these cells.

I can't find my calipers, so I just tried both of those cells in a few of my Convoy 21700 based tubes and found that one in particular fit the F60 about as perfectly as you could ask for, with zero rattle. I then tried the F63 and it as actually the tiniest little bit smaller in diameter. You...

That's true and guess somewhat my point. So much has been sacrificed (my opinion) on these lights, just for the sake of claiming it's the smallest or one of the smallest. It's like you said, there are other lights (most every other one) in this category that offer these options. I just can't...

None of these cells will fit the SC70. The inside lip stops them. In the SC700 they also will not fit enough to allow the light to work. The suction or vacuum that's created won't allow them to safely be fully inserted. Guess what they do fit? Every other non-ZL 21700 based flashlight that...

I find its inability to fit the newer high-capacity 21700 cells yet another issue that continues to push ZL down in the pack. When you start adding up all these shortcomings that ZL has over these new modern, much cheaper lights, it makes it difficult to even consider recommending ZL to anyone...

I'm a bit concerned that possibly something was learned from the 1st batch, not in a good way, that delayed releasing of further batches.

Let’s hear from the hard core AAA users!

I have a couple older single stage E05's. I'll have to check and see if it has the 2-part bezel or not. I don't recall.

List Present Production Lights that work with AA batteries.

I still have a couple of those and love them.

    The Official Zebralight Thread

In reading the specs and description of the SC70 on the ZL website, I'm trying to understand why ZL would put the top 4-levels, of a 12-level light, under PID control. I could see it on the top 2, even possibly on the top 3, but the top 4?
