It's not the nichia model, I don't believe any of the nichia models are 14500 capable. It runs a CREE easywhite XP-L, and was sold as a High CRI option. I'll have some pics up in a few

Yes, though sending it to McBob turns a $65 light into a much more expensive light. I have a few H53s in reserve, so I am not desperate. I'll probably just wait for one to come on sale that does not need modding.

i love them zebras lol true story i used to use one on uber low walk thru woods to see how low i can go and still not walk into a tree lol. but one nihht i walked into a homless camp luckly they didnt see me and i walked by. btw them jerks months latter left such a mess in the woods i had to clean it all up becuase i hate litter it took me a long time they had so much garbage out there
