Back in the day, there was a store called Sears. They marketed the “Diehard” brand of batteries. Dorcy sells them now but I have no experience with them.
I have seen all three of the majors leak like a screen door on a submarine. My observations from the past 40 years are that the diehard brand are the only ones that I have never seen leak.
I have used Efest 16340s for a bunch of years in my 4Sevens mini turbo thrower. Have not had any issues with them. They seem to have very low self discharge.
I am wondering if these batteries will make a connection if I use three in series inside of a flash light? Or, do I need to solder a button top on each one?

Going through my boxes of batteries and chargers this afternoon, and at the very bottom of the box I found an XTAR SV2. Sure enough it fits and appears to be charging my unprotected 21700s.
Moving into the 21700 relm but they don’t fit any of my chargers. Any recommendations for a quality charger? I like to charge my batteries gently hoping they will last longer.
