If I've posted this in the wrong place, please just move me over.

This is my first post here. I am new to flashlight obsession. I love the HDS Rotary, and a Mcgizmo I have yet to identify. To me, the Mcgizmo flashlights are functional art. I don't know if I've ever seen anything sweeter. They are THAT beautiful, and they do something useful??? Forget wedding rings and jewelry. I love, and I'm looking for the Light Saber hilt look. These have that. Especially in the slightly longer sizes.

I am trying to identify the lights I have seen pictures of, that are my favorites, and then choose one to purchase. I will post several pictures asking for help in determining which lights these are. Thank you in advance for your help.
My technical knowedge on these lights is very poor. I'm not looking for a focused punch of light, but rather a medium broad/ long light.

Haiku 2x123 body, Haiku 1x123 body, Lunasol 20 with a "C" pack if memory serves. Welcome to the forum! Don's lights are fantastic. The two Haikus should be available for purchase with your choice of emitter, the LS20 is out of production but can occasionally be found on the Buy Sell Trade part of the forum, titanium and exotic metal section. The C pack may prove a bit more elusive, but they are out there. Enjoy your search!

Edit- Your first picture is of a Haiku with the AA body. Sorry for the bad info!

They are indeed awesome art/tools/cool factor. If you want more Throw, "Punch" you say. I suggest looking at the light that is in the Center of that first picture. That is the Aqua Ram. The reflector on that one gives it both punch and broad. Where as the Haiku is more of a Broad than say punch. Still with me? lol

If you are set on the Haiku, get the XP-G led in it. It will give you more Punch. I have both the XP-G and the XM-L. XM-L led is more floody. To me: I notice a pretty big difference.

Not sure if you have seen these links, they may help you out a tad.

Something to think about, heres a link to the Aqua Ram (The Terra Pak is a Clicky tail)

Hope that helps you out a bit.

Another link for reference...

Fairly comprehensive, but a lot of those lights in that thread are long out of production.

It also does not include the newer Aqua/TerraRam or Aqua/TerraMule.

Thank you very much for the helpful responses.

Does the 2xAA Haiku maintain the same brightness level with higher grade batteries? Are there options that make more light, or does the light remain the same regardless of the battery?

The aqua ram is impressive, but on the large side for my goal with this purchase.

Does anyone ever wear the Haiku light clipped to a belt just to show off the light? I haven't seen any pictures like that. Is the clip only meant to Secure the light in a pocket?

The 2xAA pak can serve as host to both the AA (1.5 V) light engine which drives the LED at 300 mA on high or the 3S (3V)light engine which drives the LED at 660 mA on high.

I have worn these lights clipped on the outside of belts when I was still in CA and clipped on the outside of shorts now that I am in Hawaii. You need to take care that you don't catch the light on stuff and maybe scratch the stuff but I have found the clip well secure in this mode.
