Which lathe to get?

So let's say i'm looking for a 7x10 or 7x12 lathe, and i don't want to go over $ 500 for the lathe and basic flashlight-creating tools. (Not expensive or specialty ones)

What do you recommend? Chief_Wiggum has a Taig i believe. Pretty sure Chop has a rebranded Harbor Freight. Don't know about the rest.
