I found one. My short review: It FRIGGEN ROCKS. They will be worth the wait, and I could see myself buying another.

I'm interested in the installation service for my standard natural M2 head and my Oveready black custom HA III version.

I believe that setup is no-no with this direct drive module. You might fry the emitter. At the very least you will melt the McClicky using this module and that battery. You might get lucky and find a sturdy enough McClicky but for sure it will be a handburner. As for installation service, I don't remember them confirming it will happen. Good luck.

I do wish they would reconsider and offer an sst-90 version. Then it would be able to handle the larger IMR battery. The challenge after that is finding a suitable switch.

I know this is a dead thread - but hey, I can :bumpit: it right? :D
(Edit: At least, unless EG asks for it to be closed due to this being a discontinued product)

A great idea IMO for a complementary product to those wonderful Moddoo Triples - a unit that can combine with any of our favorite P60 SF hosts to provide some serious punch at distance. Combining this idea with the latest XM-L's would be a killer combo ...

A dead thread yes, but not a dead idea. We want to make more but the reflector is no more and we can't seem to source a suitable replacement.

What about with a TIR wide angle, Orrrrrrrr a Mule HEAD yeah a mule head. I have a maglite modded as a direct drive and I popped out the reflector. I'd love a little brother for this light. 3-5 amps and maybe a .03 lumen low :D

Yeah. As you increase the diameter on a mule setup, you have to increase the length of the head (depth of the LED) to keep the beam from getting to wide.

Well that explains alot of things. This is my - bar none - favorite single level flashlight. And aside from the time & effort you guys put into things I wondered why you diodn't seem to make more than a handful of these. I don't think mine ever got too hot to hold (unlike several other of my lights). While I lovet the triples - sometimes it really helps to have a hot spot in order to point out "that" (whatever you want to point out in an industrial site - valve, leak, etc...). That is where this light (head) really "shines". Sorry.

I too wished there were more m2-50s or anything similar. I think the M2 heads are so underused in the modding world. Probably bc of a lack of parts to mod with. A perfect setup for me would be an M2 bezel (old ribbed style) modded to use a TIR optic that has the beam profile similar to the UB3T. A beam that's smooth and throws well with little or no spill.

Amen! When are we going to achieve a 1000+ lm XM-L thrower in M2 bezel form factor (or even p60 but less likely)? Nudge :)

True, I wish there was a decent mule head light for under $100,
Maybe 200 lumens and 85+ cri
