Could someone post a side by side picture of a surfire e2e and the wasp in 18350/18650 set up?

thanks

Are you referring to an incan E2E? If so, then the size difference is significant. The Wasp is roughly the same length and diameter as a Surefire Z44 bezel. I should be able to take a photo this evening of an 18650 TL, with either a Triad or DB tailcap.

Yes compared to the Incan e2e- thank you.

I have seen the comparison to the surefire 6p size and want to get an idea of how it compares to the e2e, if it's too big for my liking I will just hold out for the upcoming triple e2e.

The trouble is too many of us are already waiting on that one. LOL

I didn't understand your 18350/18650 description, so here's a Wasp with a TL65, With a McClicky switch, it'll fit either two 18350s or an 18650. The Wasp with a TL34 can can be used with an 18650 if a ZeroRez Shorty tailcap insert is used, or an 18350 with a McClicky. Between them is an incan E2E that you can pretend has an awesome triple in the head.

The Triple E2E tailstands, so I attached Triads.

So my preference is TL50s with shorty zero rez. With a clicky it takes an 18500 (zero rez shorty 18650) - so picture a length between the two wasps, then shorten it slightly at the tail with a zero rez shorty (twisty). Runs on an 18650, or 2x18350s and the s at the end stands for slim body, for my paracord wrap for comfortable handholding.... (so it's an earlier Moddoolar head in photo)

I also prefer the length of the TL50 with a McClicky'd Triad.

I honestly use the TL100 with DB tailcap and Prometheus clip more often than the TL34. It fits nicely into my cargo shorts' front pocket.

That's my dream moddoolar. TL50 with zero rez shorty and wasp head (can't decide between nichia or xp-l, I think I will buy what will be available).

Great shots and awesome collection.

Update Time:

Next batch is due this weekend. I'll post again with details when they are available.

A few measurements

  • bezel OD is 1.25 in
  • 14500 OD is 0.7 in

We've replaced frosted lenses with frosted optics. The new options go like so:

  1. narrow clear - max throw (original choice)
  2. medium frost - same hotspot, less throw for perfect beam
  3. wide frost - mule like, smooth and even
  4. Jim is reviewing them, ready shortly!
  5. Extra optics are shipping in a new storage container:

I've made a timing video, showing both clicky and twisty. I can make another (with the correct orientation), just let me know what I should strive to show:

I will be in training all weekend =/ Hope I will have a chance to get one as well! Just wondering, will we be getting any more info as to timing? Sorry if this has been answered, I'm new to this!

Just noticed some typos in the product description:

"Control the Darkwith 3500 lumens in the palm of your hand (2 cell XPL, 1600 for 219B neutral). Simplicity, performance, reliablitiy, versitlity - in one tiny package. The world's only open airflow flashlight"
