Good advice ty. I actually have a green, factory D4s 219c on order and had my finger on the trigger of a BLF GT before the Delta. You guys are so right about the sizing comparison, great minds think alike!

Ok I may be exaggerating but the delta is a shade lower than the gt

I had assumed the Delta is on the right with more prominent hot spot on the cloud correct? Maybe I was mistaken lol.

Ty. The GT looks like it's still trying to punch a hole in the cloud while the Delta appears to be at its limit. Do you think I'm going to want to go farther like the GT can, or are they truly comparable?

Not saying comparable but the delta can play with the big boys at half the cost, at a fraction of the weight, a single battery

Cheers. Thanks for clarifying...can't wait to receive it and view that Oslon in person. I ordered the torch specs too so that will be neat to see. I think I will enjoy the smaller form factor a lot even if it's not on par in terms of pure throw with a beast like the GT.

So I received my Delta today. Thanks Vinh for the quick work! Measured 470kcd with 788 lumens. The max I think you can do with an Oslon is 800 lumens. As shown in other night pics it's a pure white light. No complaints about it outdoors.

I ran it tonight with my Manker MK39 and TN31vn neutral. It's the smallest of those three obviously. It easily outthrows the MK39 but not the TN31vn which is from 2013 and close to 500kcd and ~1700 lumens. The TN31vn neutral has better color rendering, a larger hotspot, and noticeably more throw.

T31vn used to be THE THROWER for me! It was the rich man's K40vn. LOL

I too was on a hiatus from 2015 and came back to see what's floating about and went on a shopping spree.

Ha, must be something in the air. Same here. I've recently added the Delta, the UC52vn (great dog-walking light), and the little Fenix 15th Anniver$ary. Thinking now about the Delta Compact 2 (or Manker E04vn mule) to replace my ubiquitous Surefire G2 that I keep with my go-bag toolbag for the thousand and one things we put a flashlight between our teeth for.

I was using my Delta U21 Oslon tonight. Such an impressive beam. I wish it could reach out a little more but that's me.

I decided to try the onboard charging using the cord from my other Manker which is really short but it worked. The Delta charges really fast. I know in your site states the U22 takes overnight. The U21 Delta is much quicker, going from 3.95 to 4.15 in about an hour, and still charging.

Is the charging light supposed to come on like in the U21vn photos on your site? It charges but no light.

Perhaps I gave TMI. I'm just wondering if the light in the power button on my Delta should be on when charging. Mine is not, though there are pics on his site with the light on.

My charging light doesn't come on although it does appear to charge the battery

His XSearcher has an awesome kcd, I was tempted too, but for the price I like a larger hotspot and much more lumens when throwing that far. I have an older Tiablo A9 Aspheric that serves that purpose and is one of the most impressive torches I can show off, from the positive reactions it always receives. The newer Tiablo has a couple aspheric head options.

As for the Delta, thanks for the feedback, I'll assume mine isn't broken then and the breathing light, a nice option, just doesn't work with his UI. It would be nice if details like that were made clear before purchasing, but not a deal breaker in this case. If only I could get a couple hundred meters more throw from it I'd be done looking lol.

I've no doubt the XSvn is a super fun aspherical torch. That's exactly what my friends like to do with mine. I actually take it to work and let people who want to borrow and enjoy it. They always want to see it again haha
