Update 1: I think Gene is using blue film to identify the lens. Haven't disassembled the head yet.

Update 2: I tried installing mine on my RPM "E-Series" Release 3 battery body and it's not screwing on. :( Gets REALLY tight after a 1-2 turns. Yep, there's a good amount of lube. Unfortunately that's my only e-series body. Disappointed it's not working better. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

EDIT: just tried my alu VME and it fits on VG 1x123 body and 2x123 HA but it can go only 2 turns on 2x123 BK.
Odd...

Just spoke with Gene. He did not test fitment before sending to me. He is going to test on his e-series body and get back to me this afternoon.

Thread class of fit (thread tolerance) ...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unified_Thread_Standard

Unfortunately, the "E-series / compatible" ecosystem spans a range of tolerances.

I have noted particularly certain fivemega parts only fit some of my other parts, as well as a few other scattered incompatibilities with other makers.

Mine does not come close to fitting that tightly to the RPM body. I'll post a pic shortly showing the gap.

Sorry guys and gals... I have found some bodies that are over spec on the thread pitch diameter.
I'm sending out a reworked body to lion504 tomorrow for a test on these new heads... which look great!
PM sent also...

I saw above that the heads were sent out on 7/2, but I've not received a pm about tracking info yet, as stated at the beginning of the thread. I'm wondering if we will still receive the info. Thanks.👍
