    Red lamp with throw

I ended up with the Sofirn D25LR and I think it's going to be the answer. I haven't gotten it in the woods yet but testing in the back yard is impressive. The all black picture is the BD Spot 350 with the red lights on. The red picture is the Sofirn.

    Red lamp with throw

There is a similar post a few down that is outside the US so I posted a new one for the difference in US options. I’m looking for a red light with throw to use walking into my hunt stand in the morning. Right now I am using a BD Spot 350 and am completely happy with the white light but the...

Looking for small multipurpose car light

I haven't played around with enough lights to have a tint preference, I'd say more white. Throw I'd like a blend of spot and flood, I.e. driving lights in the automotive world. UI prefer a click through that either starts on low on starts on last used. A head twist would be an acceptable second...

Looking for small multipurpose car light

thanks. I prefer the click but if there is a twisty that stands out I am open to it. Of the things listed clicky is lowest on the priority list.

Looking for small multipurpose car light

Been out of the flashlight game for a while and am not up to speed on what's out there. I'm working on outfitting a Molle visor cover in my truck and need a small multi lumen light to mount on it. I had originally planned on a small low level light and a G2X but once I had to G2X mounted I...

New Home, New Light: Need a Thrower

We recently moved into a new house. We went from a normal 1/5 acre suburban sub-division to an open acre lot neighborhood on the edge of town. Our closest neighbor is 50 yards and the furthest is 150 yards. The area between houses is open. The neighborhood backs up to a lake on one side and...

    Rifle Bag Light

I'm in the process of putting together a rifle go bag to use in training classes and to keep around the house. One of the items I'm planning on putting in the bag is a flashlight. My first thought and still leading contender is the Surefire G2. My only concern is battery drain and grabbing the...

    Battery drain?

The Surefire had Surefire, and the Streamlights had Streamlights, these were still the OEM batteries.

    Battery drain?

I'm a fledgling flashaholic; I've got a few lights but don't do alot with them. Most of the time they sit in a plastic tub waiting to get used for something. Tonight I went to check on all my lights and look for any signs of leaks, this was the first time this has been done in a long while...

    Help My Collection

Budget is pretty open. I enjoy quality and don't mind paying however I usually don't want to pay 2-3x the cost for 10-20% more performance. I think I'd like one light with throw. My parents live on 180 acres and I spend some time down there. Throw seems llike it would be a nice thing there...

    Help My Collection

I've been a closet flashaholic for a while and have collected a handful of lights. Now I need some guidance in filling holes in my collection and adding lights that are better suited. A little background: I live in OK so I can lose power at anytime. I need lights for getting around the...
