I was thinking about our lounge today; it's long and narrow and I think I'm going to try something with 6 or 7 XP-Gs in neutral around 20cms / 8" from the roof with 15 degree optics. That should give a long, dissipated beam across the ceiling, delivering the low level light that I want during...

... prepay at the seller end. B&H and Adorama both offer this now, it's only a matter of time before the flashlight retailers should, too.

@egsise: you should try going to Citymarket with a non-finnish Driver's Licence. 90% of the checkout staff freak until I find my KELA card with the magic "loppu" - and even then, I've had "foreigner!" written on the receipts before. Fools.
Applying for a finnish driver's licence is also a...
hmm. I have a mild condensation issue in my Comet HIDs. However, the beam kicks ***, so I'm not too worried. It's also not getting any worse, despite 100% humidity...
I like the way the comets work, but HID is soooo worth it. Reflections from 700m :D

If you need cheap range, get a bridge. Will post some more pics later, I'm just processing Sat eve's party pics and they're difficult - massive WB problems :(

I don't understand why you feel the need to compare and find your post extremely difficult to read.
How do you know what the 100W bulb puts out? You don't. There are ballpark numbers flying around (someone mentioned 800lm the other week); the 15W tube I put in the bathroom last week is also...
Home network drives are all well and good until something happens to the house... and then you have a real problem.
NASes tend to be slow or expensive. However, depending on what you want it for, it may be OK.
Consider at the very least offline backups (like Mozy) or CDs / USBSticks / DVDs...
It's not impossible to get a transfer back, at least not in Europe. You have to move fast, but the option is there.
Paypal "gift" is *not* free for the sender. I recently sent my brother some cash so he could send me a package. £20 --> fee of £0.99. It's very, very stupid that UK banks charge...

using the measurements Lux posted in a previous thread, I figured that 18 17670s should fit, 19 ought to be possible and then you need 1 more for 10s2p. That would be 12V @ 7800mAh.... I will ask for one of these to come over in the medium term so I can play :)
those measurements...
