was charging nl1834 cells.. and notice slot 4's battery post being pushed into an awkward position.. spring and slider is fine.. but seems like the post was bent backwards...
Actual retail doesn't come with any batteries ...unless you get it as a package deal from the seller..
for those who might want to .. the bezel that fits the SRT7 also fist the SRT9 since its 40mm .. however the screw thread is a tad bit longer than the original flat bezel, so you can't screw...

for the MC3K, to use it in anything but the advanced mode is big waste of $$. i am not sure if its this way, but the MC3K software for windows doesn't allow programming and saving via the PC.. and what program set on the MC3K, might not be the same as what is set on the mobile phone app?
i was...
the protected pannies i have are red at the + end.. i saw the ones at my local shop and its now white... don't know the cell measurements tho .. to be safe, i bought another 2 NL189s from GB ...
hope its nothing more then that.. i think i should be able to find a replacement fan if needed... was thinking of attaching those usb fans to the USB output for 'additional' cooling ..
i'm using the MC3K for most of my charging duties for now as my cells have been 'parked' for a while and i'm giving them a cycle/refresh on the MC3K..
if not, i guess xtar (in my opinion) is a good choice for general duties, likewise the Nitecore.. if a bit of cell analysis or more functions...
i like my MC3000 ... but it seems to have a loud whirring sound sometimes which last 1-2 secs, when i switch it on .. during charging , if the fan comes on... it does not have that loud whirring sound at all..
wonder if anyone else has the same ?
ok .. sorry for commenting on the thread again.. but i've gotten the pannies to work on the TM26GT.. think i didn't tighten enough.. now its working with the pannies.. just that the words on the battery compartment will not be in line with the words on the head...
NCR18650B - no problem
I dropped by a retailer.. it powered up with 2 x NL189 .. it's not the light but the pannies.
YMMV.. cause some times I hear other users with no issue on the combo , whereas some do..
I just received the flashlight 20 mins ago .. put in my pannies , ncr18650b protected button tops .. I can tighten the flashlight correctly, but it seems to not be able to power up .. :(
The pannies are the only ones I have in 4 or 8 pcs.. the others like NC, Soshine or olights are in pairs...
