Hello. I would like to try my hand at swapping out the stock XPL-Hi emitter on this M3XS-UT that I've had lying around for years.
I have some soldering experience but have never done this before.
What would be a recommended "modern" emitter to use that would improve the tint and have as much...
My MaratacVN came in yesterday. Ridiculous how bright it is in such a small package! It is extremely hard/tricky to get into program mode for DriverVN with a twisty, though.
Can someone please make a video of this PLEASE?! LOL
Also, hopefully Jmpaul320 will receive the other two varieties (U3 PDTc and MTG2) as well for testings so we can put some numbers on them as well!
Re: TISvn - Brightest & Most Advanced Keychain Light
Probably an obvious answer, but would you suggest sandblasting it then, to make scratches less visible?
edit: nvm, I'll just live with the scratches. It adds character :p
Re: TISvn - Brightest & Most Advanced Keychain Light
What the hell, a copper version? I'm in!:
$70 MaratacVN
XPL 5000K
A)+ $55 DriverVN Max brightness + Copper Heat sink base + PermanentArctic Silver Bond + Beam Tuning
B)+ $5 for "V54" Engraved
Re: TISvn - Brightest & Most Advanced Keychain Light
Hopefully Vinh can give us a definitive No or Yes on Ti light so I can decide whether to continue waiting or not.
Re: TISvn - Brightest & Most Advanced Keychain Light
I would love to buy this if there was a titanium version to replace my keychained titanium Foursevens Mini ML.
Is this a better thrower than the Olight M2X-UT Javelot 800+ meter throw (also a single 18650)?
Anyone got numbers to compare? I know this is a newer release by Vinh, so a comparison between the older M25Cvn and M2X-UT should do.
