Here's a message I got from Jetbeam Service Centre
"Please use the pliers or similar tools to open the concave points which areinside of the tail cap of RRT0(near the spring) . Hope you can try it, if have any question pls let us know, thank you again."
I just got my RRT-0 S2 and I have the same problem on 16340 cells. I tried using an alkaline AA and the lowest mode seems lower. I have no CR123 primaries to test so I am not sure if it is the cell's problem. Anyone use the light with both 16340 and CR123 primaries?
The M31 is fully regulated with 2x18500.
Runtime is 33 minutes and a sudden shut down with no dimming at all according to my lux meter. Measured the batteries and they both read 3.64 volt, not quite sure what's triggering the shut down.
Actually my concern is about the beam. Any idea about the beam? I was thinking the P7 multi-die reflector should work okay for the SST-50 but not sure if an XR-E reflector would work better than a reflector designed for the P7.
Hello, where do I find the best 26.5mm p60 reflector for the SST-50 emitter?
I ordered the P7 empty pill + reflector from KD but wanna know if there is something better out there. Will the P60 XR-E reflector work better?
I see quite a number of people using 8x7135 driver to power a multi-die emitter, driving it to 2.8A, but only using one li-ion cell.
So my question is, how well regulated is this driver when used together with one IMR 18650? How long can it keep a stable 2.8A current ? Can the driver still...
Maybe this info would be useful if you haven't seen it.
Do you plan to use it on high mode for more than 10 minutes continuously? The runtime on high is quite limited anyway so I would just use it on high for 4 - 5 minutes short bursts, or maybe longer if i cool it with my hands.
