Thanks for the recommendation. I had credit at B&H so I picked up a Fenix HP30R. I hope it works well..only thing I don't like is the headlamp cant swivel up any higher, only down. At least the H60R could swivel in either direction.
So its been just over a year since Ive made this post. Ive been on quite a few trips and have been using a Fenix TK35 flashlight and a Fenix HL60R headlamp. I am very happy with my flashlight...in fact I use it almost exclusively, and just use the headlamp when needed. One thing I noticed with...
Hello,
I am looking for a recommendation for a 4 battery 18650 charger. Id like it to be able to be used with an outlet (not usb), and provide a full charge to all batteries at the same time. I saw a nice Xtar one but based on the reviews, it only fully charges 2 at a time. I only use my...
I got these at Costco, and I think they had a pack that included a charger for $30 or so including batteries, so may just get that instead and be done with it.
I got a 10 pack of Eneloop batteries. Im just wondering on the WP2H charger, can I set both the amps and voltage to the middle settings, or should they be changed compared to charging my 18650 batteries?
Thanks,
Thanks,
I am very happy with the purchases minus the fact that the charger on ebay didnt ship until I emailed them a week later asking for tracking info. Batteries came half charged, I think, so I was able to test out the flashlight. Looking forward to using it in the field.
So I picked up the two 18650 batteries linked in the second post as welll as the xstar charger. I kept the voltage thing on the side in the middle position and did the amps at .50. I charged them overnight. One was green and the other battery was still red. Is it normal to take over 8 hours to...
Hello
im looking for recommendations for a plug in (not USB) 2 battery charger and some long lasting 18650 batteries for a fenix or foxfury light.
i was looking at the nitecore i2 charger but it seems to have some bad reviews on Amazon. For reference I'm not looking to spend more than $20 for...
Too many options!! I actually work about 10 minutes away from B&H in NYC which has the light for $95...somehow even cheaper than ebay or amazon. I only have 1 18650, but since its such a no name brand that came with a $15 flashlight, I was looking at possibly getting a 4 pack of Panasonic 3400...
So I asked a friend who has been to the jungles many times and he recommended a fenix tk35 ultimate edition with a cheapie headlight.. said the flashlight will be bright enough for anything.. thoughts?
Its more like a private tour.. 2 other friends with 2 guides. The company is called tropicalherping.. highly recommmend them if you are looking to see some wild animals.
This is is very true, I usually find myself using my flashlight at the "widest" setting when hiking in the jungle. Perhaps a flood headlamp and a more beamy flashlight would be a good combo
