Lumens factory e series kl1 head rattle help.

I had a similar problem, but it was with a LumensFactory KL4 head. The advice Mark gave me was: "Simply unscrew the bezel ring and you should be able to access the internals." Maybe this also works for your KL1, it definitely solved my issues, I was able to secure the dropin after opening the head.

Yes, running one with a VME head right now.

    Lumens Factory E-series bodies

I received two of the E2 bodies and two twisty tailcaps yesterday. Quality looks very good, surface is nice, threads are cut cleanly and run smoothly once greased. Package arrived very quickly from Hong Kong and a number of stickers and even velcro patches were included. Great service, will...

    Fenix CL09 Review

I'm not sure if you already addressed this in your post, maybe I missed it: did you exchange batteries between units and repeat the tests to make sure it is indeed a light specific issue and not dependent on the batteries? Thanks!

    Surefire tactician

In the newest video on this light, James Yeager shows that a regular shrouded clicky tailcap from a Scout light works on the Tactician body. So just like you assumed, it seems to be a regular E series body. Video here: https://youtu.be/byYVcSEzPpY?t=7m8s

    The official PKDL thread

Re: Paul Kim's PK-PR1 pk, first of all, thanks a lot for your answer. Second, what type of anodizing are the current PR1 lights? I see that the new bezel is a matte finish like typical type 3 hard anodizing. It's definitely different than the existing PR1 bodies. Will future PR1 flashlights go...

    The official PKDL thread

Re: Paul Kim's PK-PR1 Any particular reason why the new bezel has a spring while the old one doesn't? I assume there is also a spring in the tailcap, just like with all SF tailcaps? The PR1 is very very intriguing, I'll probably pick one up! :-)

    I want a 3P!!!!!

Thanks all! Some good options here, and some that I wasn't even aware of! I might try some of these or I might buy some 7075 and spend a night at the lathe! ;)

    I want a 3P!!!!!

Hi guys, this may sound like a whiny post, and that's exactly what it's intended to be, a huge whinefest!!! :D I really like the stubby look of a SureFire 3P and I think it's an awesome host for my Malkoff M31 and M31L. Bezels and tailcaps are plentiful, but the 3P bodies are nonexistent. I...

The Official Malkoff Junkie thread - Part 2

Yes, my VME head is the same when inserting a M31 with lens. I emailed Gene about it and he said the only way to get it to screw down tighter is using a thinner lens. He said that waterproofness is not compromised because the o-ring is fully covered, but I personally wish it would screw down...

    The Lupine Lounge

Yes, Lupine prices are painful, I agree! But you also have to look at from the perspective of value. I bought a Lupine Wilma in 2007 and have been using this light every day throughout these years on my bike commute in all weather and temperatures. The only technical problem I ever had was when...

The Official Malkoff Junkie thread - Part 2

Not sure if this has been asked before, but with all the M61 sales on the Malkoff website, isn't anyone wondering if there's an updated version coming out soon??? Or what could otherwise be the reason?
