Please - your recommendations for lightweight, BRIGHT, headlamp for electronics work?

Zebralight H502C. 120 degrees of pure flood (no hot spot), neutral white, can take a AA or 14500 battery. I've used the H502w for work around my house for about six years now, and it's great for up-close work (working in car, in attics, cooking on grill at night, table top work), and I think...

Super-floody AA/AAA headlamp for mechanic work

I actually think the color of the H502W neutral white is a bit too cool/blue for me. I also have the Thrunite TH20 neutral and the color is more warm/yellow than the Zebralight H502W neutral, but it also has a hotspot and isn't as floody (but still great).

Super-floody AA/AAA headlamp for mechanic work

Zebralight H502W Neutral White (1AA, 120 degree pure flood beam, lightweight). It's my favorite light and what I use for everything around the house (fixing cars, going into attics, cooking on the grill at night, etc). It's a pure wall of even flood light with no hotspot...

New H53c AA Headlamp Neutral White High CRI!

Can anyone directly compare the Zebralight H53Fc to the H502w? I have the H502w and I'd like to know if the H53Fc would be a noticeable upgrade. H53Fc: http://www.zebralight.com/H53Fc-AA-Headlamp-Floody-Neutral-White-High-CRI_p_195.html H502w...

New H53c AA Headlamp Neutral White High CRI!

I'm interested in the H53Fc but it only has a 90 degree beam spread. I have the Zebralight H502W and love the 120 degree pure flood beam, so the only thing stopping me from buying the H53Fc is that it only has a 90 degree beam spread. Hopefully Zebralight will come out with an H53Fc version...

Looking for a new headlamp as a mechanic

Zebralight H502W Neutral White Floody headlamp. Uses a single AA battery, and has a 120 degree pure flood beam (no hotspot). I've had mine for years and use it almost daily for everything (fixing my car, cooking on the grill at night, going into an attic, etc)...

    Dusk-to Dawn lightbulb socket adapter

Does anyone know of any dusk-to-dawn lightbulb socket adapters that work well with led bulbs? I have found a few online, but they all have terrible reviews. This will be for an outdoor wall sconce light. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NO7PYHA/?tag=cpf0b6-20...

    Thrunite TN4A battery tube extender?

Is it possible to get (or make) a battery tube extender for the Thrunite TN4A, in order to turn it from a 4xAA into an 8xAA flashlight? I like the look and specs of the TN4A, but I need a something with longer runtimes (similar to a 2D flashlight)...

PAR38 or BR30 bulbs for Exterior Security Light

I have an outdoor security light fixture in my backyard and I'm wondering if I should go with PAR38 or BR30 led light bulbs (largest that will fit) in it. The light is up against my house and near a door, so I need light directly underneath, all around, up close, as well as far away. BR30...

    LaCrosse BC-700 USB power adapter

I have a LaCrosse BC-700 charger with a 3v 2.8A wall power supply, and I'd like to buy a USB adapter cable to power it from a solar panel or from a car cigarette lighter. Will it cause any damage to the charger or batteries if I connect it to a USB solar panel or a USB car lighter adapter that...

1AA or 2AA floody headlamp needed

I don't know if it can withstand heavy rain, but I love my Zebralight H502W L2. It's 120 degrees of pure flood (no hotspot) with a neutral white tint, 3 modes, water resistant, and very good runtimes. http://www.zebralight.com/H502w-L2-AA-Flood-Headlamp-Neutral-White_p_141.html

Streamlight Siege Review --- Now in neutral white! (September 2014)

Have you tried comparing the Siege using (3) 3AA to D parallel adapters (9AA total) to the 3 Tenergy Centura D cells? I have the 3AA adapters and plenty of Eneloops but I'm wondering if 3 Tenergy Centura D cells would still perform better. Adapters...

    New universal charger for ~$60

I need a new charger for rechargeable AA, AAA, C, D, and 18650 batteries for around $60 max. I think I've narrowed my choices to the Opus BT-3400, Xtar VC4, Xtar VC2 Plus, and Nitecore D4 (+D adapters) but I can't decide. Which charger is the most durable, reliable, and well made and can...
