    Best zoomable 18650 flashlight

Looking into this, or the jaxman z1. Probably this one. If battery life proves to be an issue, I have the resources to modify the light to store some more batteries, put in parallel for more battery life.

Anyone know of an Ecogear FX 3000mAh protected review?

Yeah, I know full and well that there are better cells. I just kind of want to know 'how bad'

    Review: Fenix FD41: focusable, 1x 18650, XP-L HI V3, 900 lumens; (beams)hots, compare

How does this compare with the Jaxman Z1? I'm looking at getting either the fenix fd41 or the jaxman. If I get the FD41, I may machine a different tube so that I can put two or three cells in parallel for more battery life, maybe the same thing if I go with the jaxman.

Looking into it now. I saw that it some were saying that it gets hot, and that affects reliability, and I can't seem to find it on amazon. Do you know where I can find it? Also, how much light does it put out?

Anyone know of an Ecogear FX 3000mAh protected review?

I've been trying to buy better cells than what I currently have, two ecogear FX 3000mAh cells, but I have no idea if they even meet the capacity they say they do. Their website DOES say they make a discharge current of 0.5C, 1500mA, according to the site, and they are protected cells. I would...

    Best zoomable 18650 flashlight

(first post, I'm brand new, but I've been reading a lot about 18650s, and their next gen counterpart the 20700s and 21-70s.) I have an ecogear FX tk120X 1600 lumen that I got as a gift from my dad a few years back, but I've been looking for something a little brighter, and higher quality to...
