I installed a light bar on my truck and mounted a set of JW Speaker LED low/high beam aux lights. I built a wiring harness so that they would mimic my factory headlights....factory lights on low, aux lights on low....flick factory lights to high, the aux lights would do the same. I also had a...
One of my favorites is a 4Sevens Quark 123 with a warm white LED.
I've had it for quite a while and certainly have plenty of newer and brighter lights...but I still like that warm light, small footprint, and light weight of that Quark.
We were traveling for a wedding and biding our time until it started. Nearby were a couple of antique stores, one had the lights.
I assume the prices reflected some elbow grease (by somebody) to get them cleaned up so nicely.
Ironically, you would probably be relatively safe wearing some much more expensive watches because the potential robbers wouldn't recognize the brand names.
Someone once gave me a Benchmade Infidel. It is an OTF auto.
I wasn't overly impressed and sold it to a neighbor for like $150. Apparently, that was a very good deal for him....since I had no idea what it cost.
I found the ROK. I really like it...it looks like the only negative comments I read about it were that the anodized titanium is a bit too slick/slippery. I haven't held one, so I can't personally conform it.
The LED low voltage landscape lights found at home improvement stores are mostly 12 volt, have nice looking housings, and can be found in much nicer color temperatures than offroad truck lights.

I can turn off the infotainment screen.
I actually removed the plastic bezel from around my instrument cluster screen and put window tint on it...then I reinstalled the bezel. It works great. At night, I can make it...
I also tried to find it. No luck.
I did find a fair number of trucks with those lights on them by using a google search for "nyc police heavy truck" and then browsing the images.
There are much better pictures, but I didn't find the brand.
My current favorite knife for our camping is a Zero Tolerance titanium handled 0095 with an S90V blade.
My son is in Scouts, so I use it all around for cutting everything from aluminum cans to vegetables or rope. This weekend I used it to cut some rug padding.
It has a thick blade with a good...
This thread is interesting, particularly because it's from 2017.
I have knives that I think are best today....but in 1, 2
, or 4 years...there will be another best because awesome stuff just keeps coming out. New steels or cooler designs are yet to come.
Then, once you've bought an apex steel...
