My Hilti TE6A uses 36V li-ion batteries. Does anyone know what kind of cells these are (25650), and where they can be bought as single cells? The cells in popular Dewalt 36V batteries, are they li-ion or the safer LiFePO4? I guess they have a nominal charge of 3.2 or 3.3 per cell. Are there 10...
Thanks for the answers so far. What`s the difference in chemistry between lithium primaries and li-ion? How can primaries be made with 1,5V, and Li-ion only at 3,7V? So far I have used Tenergy NiMH AA. How are they, compared to the recommended Sanyo Eneloops? My impression is that they have a...
I was looking for AA`s with NiMH/Alkaline voltage, and the advantages of Li-ion (high energy density, low self discharge rate). I am missing some straight forward reason wy these haven`t been made yet? I guess they would have been pretty compatible with AA size and the low voltage many of todays...
Which of these two cells would be the cell of choice for my application: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?catname=LiFePo4&idCategory=218&ParentCat=85 Is the cheaper one suited for the job?
Are you saying that 10S2P of 18650s could do the trick?
Where can I buy Molicells? They seem to be hard to find.
Could http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5035 be an option, even though they are probably not 5Ah.
I use a Hilti hammer drill for technical climbing purposes, and want to make an external battery pack to keep on my harness or in my backpack, to save weight when working above my head. Capacity should be around 3Ah, 36V. Any suggestions as to which cells I should go for, Li-ion or Li-polymer...
