    Small Pocket-Carry EDC Single CR123A

I was actually looking at the Nitecore EC11. It's an interesting design, but I'm concerned with how often it'll accidentally get turned on while being in the same pocket as a pocket knife, Leatherman and pen. With the tail clicky switch, my lights will very rarely be accidentally activated...

    Small Pocket-Carry EDC Single CR123A

Greetings all. I'm in search of a new single-CR123A pocket-carry EDC flashlight. I used to carry an EagleTac D25C, which I loved. The user interface (with the MANY strobe modes) is kind of a drag, but I got used to it and know it well. Eventually, it stopped working. I tried installing a...

Ordered Eagletac D25C XM-L.... what can I expect?

The D25C XML has been my go-to EDC light for the past 9 months or so, with no end in sight. At first I used 16340 batteries, but now use standard CR123A primaries, and prefer the extended run time and find the Medium setting useful. I don't miss the extra output at all either. I keep it in...

MODE MEMORY. I like mode memory mostly but it's a pain at other times. Your thoughts?

I don't like mode memory either...some lights i prefer to always come on on high, others I prefer to always come on on low.

Shiningbeam Blaze - Scratch & Dent

I've had nothing but stellar service from Bryan at Shining Beam. I recieved my Blaze last week and WOW, it's much better than I ever could have expected. It's at least 95% as bright with similar throw as my Eagletac G25C2! It's rock solid too...I'm trying to justify buying one of the scratch...

Right (or better) tool for the job...

Personally, I only use AA & AAA cells in keychain lights. Every other light that I use is either 18650 or (R)CR123A driven. Quite simply, they are better tools for just about any job.

    Shiningbeam's Romisen RC-T601 II U2 - a review by zenbeam

I've tried that holster and didn't like it too well...was too hard getting the light out with any kind of speed. Had to mess with it for 5 seconds every time I wanted to use the light. Also tried 2 of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0056IGYFG/?tag=cpf0b6-20, it fit great, but the...

How Long Before You Realized What You Like?

I've been into flashlights for about a year now and I'm still figuring out what I like. I've spent the past year figuring out what I want/need for work (I work in tunnel construction, so the need for a good flashlight is obvious, although overlooked by most), now I'm realizing I need more...

    Shiningbeam's Romisen RC-T601 II U2 - a review by zenbeam

I have the previous version (RC-T601) and have used it constantly at work every day for the past 4 months. Heat sinking is excellent and build quality is quite high for such an inexpensive lamp. It's replaced my EagleTac T20C2 MkII as my EDC work light. One problem is finding a good holster...
