    Re: BLF GT94 vs HID. LED has finallly surpassed HID in my opinion. As an owner of a '94, and most of the other "super" LED, they're not in the same league as the top-o-the heap HID, certainly not for throw, runtime, or temperature limits. One need only take out a Xemax, Lemax, maxa beam, etc...

    Don't know if mine has or has not the delete - it showed up today. I sent you an e-mail re: missing cap for handle. Also, does the battery voltage indication in VNX2 mean anything on this light? I get 23 blinks when entering config mode, indicating 5.2v.

    If actual quality color rendition is important, neither. I have both W30 versions, and to my (and others) eyes they both look like hell. Since the raison d'être of LEP is throw, and there's a significant and noticeable decrease in it with the "warm" option, I'd take the 6.5K if forced to choose.

    Don't bother - the source characteristics exaggerate the appearance, the coatings & lens material are on the soft side (there's a thread elsewhere where someone wrecked theirs pretty badly after "cleaning"), and the output change from what you see is inconsequential.

    Amen. Much babbling by non-owners though about product they've never used... lol. You still have the remaining 85? Used mine a couple a days ago, potential customer in someone that saw it. I passed them your contact info.

    Not bad for an HID that was probably 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of the modded K75. I'm just hoping the 50Mcd project by you-know-who gets done... I presume you''re on the list.

    It is the farthest throwing generally available thrower. And based on the performance of my copy, I'd have to say PeakBeam underrates them. It can put a crazy intense spot on distant targets that makes my LEPs look completely impotent. Unlike the LEPs though, or the conventional LED throwers...
