    So the venom is "deactivated" by heat, but does the stinger still poke holes in the roof of you mouth? I think I will use the shotgun, where appropriate, and stick to chips and salsa for snacking on!

    How often do your smaller lights end up in your mouth?

    I do often, I got the 1 AAA protac Streamlight recently and if I am wearing a hat it has a 2 way clip I can clip to the brim. If I don't have my hat on it goes between my teeth. I am thinking I might try one of the Nite Eyez gear ties, i think it is basically a rubber coated wire. A couple wraps...

    Being pretty new to good lights I would probly have to go with which three companies to buy from. One of each Fenix, one of each Nitecore and one of each Surefire would get me a good start!

    Is there any place in between Phoenix and Tucson to meet? Looks like Eloy is about in the middle, but I don't know of anywhere in that city that would make for a good spot.

    What light did you receive as a gift this Christmas?

    I got a PD35! My first high lumen LED light, I can't believe how bright this thing is for the size! My next brightest light is a Streamlight Ultra Stinger that I bought back in 05 or 06 (I think).

    What is a good price on those? I saw one the other day packaged with an LED Solitare for $22 and I almost bought it. But the focus of that trip was gifts for the wife so I didn't get it.
