    I place all of my chargers in a pyrex baking dish when using them and never leave the house when they are running. Even my Maha 808M. Its not that I dont trust them but why take a chance?

    Mine actually has solder at the joint where yours has the epoxy. Mine started to flicker once but I just tightened the tail cap and had no more problems.

    Cell reversal usually happens when the pack was discharged too low. I dont think there is a cure for it either. I have had my C777-Plus for years and never had any problems. Your problem with the batt pack may not have been caused by your charger, have you charged any other packs with it?

    If I remember correctly if power is applied to the regulator board and there is no LED connected or if the LED burns up and opens the circut then the regulator board will be damaged quickly. Im so sorry to hear this, I hope you have better luck on the next one.

    I dont think I would strip it. Lithium can ignite if it comes in contact with oxygen or moistue. (even just the humidity in the air) and can do so with no source of ignition. These are some of the resons they have these have safety features built in.
