light for a 45 ton press.

I recently became responsible for maintenance of presses at work. Some of them have light fixtures for illuminating under the press head. Looks like the max Watts I can use is 200 type A, I was told by a press operator that the 75W bulb they have in the machine isn't great. Looking for an...

Coast, single AAA, single mode, twist tail.

Another good Home Depot find, a package of 2 flashlights for $10. Light is white with blue tint and a blue halo. Has a head down pocket clip, non-reversible. Lanyard hole, not ideal for keyring but good to clip in a pocket and I think a good stocking stuffer.

    Some of my work.

Good, I ended up telling guys that heavy damage and deep nicks were pretty much going to double the cost. $3 per inch for a coarse edge, $5 for a fine edge and polished edges would go from $7-$10 per inch. Granted, like you I use Edge Pro for perfect edges, if they're willing to take a power...

Not bad, it's hard to see past 2k in pictures, at least for me.

    Recharging a leclanche battery.

I suppose I might get an answer if I say it's a modern 6v lantern battery with 4 f cells. These are zinc carbon with a layer of zinc surrounding the carbon and something like ammonium chloride. As the F cells produce electricity the zinc and paste are used up. These battery holders are pop-off...

    Are you flood or throw?

My thoughts exactly, anyone can make a diffused light, a lot harder to make a thrower.

    Recharging a leclanche battery.

I recently saw a video about old leclanche batteries that were user maintained. My question is if I get some small diameter zinc rods and some ammonium chloride, would I at least theoretically be able to rejuvenate a lantern battery?

    Home depot flashlight "mod"

Thanks, with no lathe to work with, finding the appropriate material to work with had left me somewhat dependent on the very scary practice of using my table saw to cut circles in particle board and using an improvised mounting plate made of a discarded speaker washer that the cone support was...

    Home depot flashlight "mod"

Yep, that's the one, I think I paid $20. I had to remove the reflector to get a cleaner beam, it's just a bare LED "mule" to get a nice clean projection. Now that I have a few of these lenses, I'm looking for more powerful single LED lights. Thanks for the comments, I wasn't sure a 30 minute...

    Home depot flashlight "mod"

Front, side and top view followed by whatever I could get with auto exposure. Cardboard is to prevent excessive light spill because the lens is screwed on to wood and there needs to be the gap to focus the beam. Batteries are pretty well used up after a few bonfires and amusing the girls...
