Sorry, I don't have any of those lights.
Look here . This is GENTOS 5W review. Hope you can read Japanese...
You will find GENTOS products(sold as SuperFire ) at Kojima if you want.
It would be this one . It's said to be a Nuwai's luxeon light.
Other company GENTOS is selling flashlights which use the same reflector(also Nuwai's) and they are said to be good for prices. Streamlight Task light 3AA would be the same one except battery tube. OHM's are said to have yellowish...
FYI X3V is underdriven at 4.4W. You can see indivisual reviews from here .
Back on the topic, fuja (the reviewer) says that both SNII and Megaclops are same in brightness for his eyes.
Re: OFFICIAL Firefly Thread
If I modefy a reflector of Legend AAA or anything, I can put it into Firefly without problems, right?
I found that wide spill of Micro Illuminator's beam was useful.
Re: Micro Illuminators to Ship Soon
Mine too, green.
It's not so annoying in real use as the tint is even, though.
Of course, it's still a outstanding flashlight. Amazingly bright for it's size.
Yeah, some Japanese said that HGM2210F, the one 5mm version,
is dim and useless, it just exists to be modefied.
So, it can't be brigher than Luxeon flashlight.
If yours is that bright, it must be a Luxeon one.
Please post the pic of the LED.

In the new board, there is a SMT resistor from the feedback pin to GND which accomplishes the same thing.

Off topic, but does this mean that new batch of Madmax will not be adjustable?
