    Lemax LX70 Superpower HID Light

What is the candela rating on this? With that kind of lumen ouput combined with a large reflector, I would say at a minimum 1.5M candela.

    HIgh End HID Handheld Lights..

Not to derail the subject, but ever think of getting more led lights? Some of the led flashlights that are coming out these days are getting pretty good. Of course though if you are into tremendous throw, it is hard to compete with the 730,000 candela of a Surefire Arc light...

    HIgh End HID Handheld Lights..

I think you pretty much reached the top of the HID line. I still remember the evolution of the earliest handheld HID lights such as Acro X990, Rayzorlite/Rayzorbeam, Wolf-Eyes, Costco HID, Power on Board, AE Powerlight, Surefire Beast, Chinese Ebay lights, and of course some custom HID builds...

    10 Ultra Thrower Comparison Video

The dedomed beam has a very large filled hotspot that throws pretty far and is generously wide enough for up close usage. The best part about the dedoming is that it removes the donuthole effect (which is very noticeable) from the stock beam pattern. The color temperature changes to about 5000K...

    10 Ultra Thrower Comparison Video

I have an Acebeam K60 that has been dedomed by Vinh Nguyen. He still sells the K60vn on his website for an affordable price. I think its lux measurement has been determined by another CPF member to be about 230k CD. It is certainly an upgrade compared to the stock K60 that is well worth it in my...

    Questions for Factor Equipment

Welcome to the forums. I understand your a new company and still expanding, however do you have any plans for a 5000+ lumen flashlight? There are a lot of us on the forum that are interested in ultra high output flashlights. With the release of high powered led emitters such as the Cree XHP70 or...

    V54 Monthly Giveaway

Oh man, I am in the same boat as you. I started working full time in a busy hospital, and ever since then I have not done a lot of exercises or working out. I used to work out several times a week. Now I am so lazy after work that I cut down to exercising about once a week. But the paychecks are...

    V54 Monthly Giveaway

Oh, love that quote. Where I live, a lot of the people are of Asian descent (so am I, I am Chinese/Korean/White). There are quite a few girls/ladies here who are really small, like 5' 2" and 100lb. I am hoping to pick up a girl like that. Its kind of hard sometimes because even those really...

    V54 Monthly Giveaway

#2016 My biggest regret is not eating enough vegetables and drinking enough milk as a growing child. Now, as an adult in my 20s, I am 5 feet 7 inches and 145 pounds. There are kids in middle school bigger than me! But being small has some of its advantages, I have never ever hit my head on a...

    SD75vn - Brightest Utility 70

Just curious, how would a SD75vn with XHP70 dedome compare to the clear dome or diffused dome options?

    SD75vn - Brightest Utility 70

How does the SD75vn compare to the dedomed K60vn in terms of throw/lux?

    K50V3 CREE XHP35 HI 2500LM Throw 1300M

Oh wow. I did not even notice that until I took a look back at the Cree lineup and found the XHP35-HI. With that kind of led emitter combined with a large and deep reflector, I am hoping this K50V3 can surpass 300,000 candela. That would be amazing for a stock flashlight.

    K50V3 CREE XHP35 HI 2500LM Throw 1300M

I just noticed this on the Acebeam website. I am not as savy and up-to-date with all the new led emitters out there so this is the first time I am learning about the Cree XHP35 led. According to Cree specifications, the XHP35 is 3.45mm x 3.45mm (which is the same dimension as the XPl-HI). As far...

    Acebeam K60 (1xXHP70, 4x18650) Review

You could be right. I do not want to speak for everyone. But for myself, I have used the K60 on L5 and L6 many times bare handed on prolonged uses and I never got any kind of thermal burns. When I was also doing runtime tests, I would touch the K60 with bare hands just to get a sense of the...
