    Olight UC (Universal Charger) Magnetic & USB input

    Yeah, my UC is the same. If the charging is interrupted anywhere above 4.08v or so, it will just turn green when reconnected. I think it's a great charger for "just in case", but you still need a proper charger on hand.

    I do like the design of the button on the S1 baton and thé S1R. I can easily find them in the dark, but have not had much of an issue with them turning on in a pocket.

    There is some satisfaction which comes from finding just the tool for your job. But I personally think there is much greater satisfaction in making another item into the perfect tool for the job. Love what you have done!

    LED Flashlight with automatic turn off

    Not really applicable to the OP, buy I use OLight's timer function everytime I go camping. Turn on moonlight, set the 9 minute timer and tell thé kids they had better be asleep by the time their "night light" turns off. Works everytime... though we do run them ragged usually while camping.

    Don't get me wrong, I still want the S1A or the LD12. But the Manker E11 seems like a great light for a decent price and I was going to pick one up while I wait on a deal to pop up on the Fenix or OLight (leaning toward the LD12). Why buy just one when you can buy two?

    Seems like I can easily find the LD12 for 10-15% less then the S1A. You have a lead on cheaper S1As?

    You are correct and I am a huge fan of the moonlight mode on the OLights. You guys aren't helping my decision at all! :duh2: Maybe I'll just pick up both... Seems like the only option. :D

    I've run my G2X Pro with 2 Olight RCR123As (8.4V) for a while now and notice no ill effects or any difference whatsoever for that matter... YMMV

    This is exactly the problem I am having! I have also looked at the Thrunite options... I wish I could just buy one of each! I did discover the "insider" deals at Fenix-Store and will keep an eye there. I honestly don't have much of an opinion on the switch type as I have and use both back...
