What flashlight do you keep in your vehicle?

I don’t like to leave a flashlight in my truck. I’ll always have a few on my person daily. If I’m going out at night, I may include (for fun) my Convoy S12 UV w/filter and my Acebeam M1 Terminator. Otherwise, I’m almost certain to have, in my pocket, two or three of the following: Wurkkos...

Is your light... a thrower? Eh? Know what I mean?

    DQG Fairy story

Last year, at the beginning of March 2019, we went down to Concord to take delivery of a new Tacoma. In the year, I put over 35K miles on it. That was a good day, yet also a sad day. At some point, while taking keys out of my pocket, putting keys back in, taking out my wallet, whatever, my...

    Bestech Goblin (titanium)

I really liked mine and used it for about a year until the liner screw worked loose and the line fell out. Now it’s useless. The liner fell out somewhere in the woods so it’s gone forever. Sigh.

    Best Keychain light

Why have I never heard of Royvon before?

    Best Keychain light

Search amazon for 10180 lights. There’s tons that do plenty bright and acceptable runtime for a keychain light, plenty that charge with a micro-usb cable without having to fully open them. Even some that have a side switch that doesn’t always get accidentally pushed.

    Non-conducting flashlight

Like I said, my Lumintop 2AAA is max 200 lumens. But the low is listed at 50h. So a good long low runtime (so I don’t have to change batteries every day), and 200 lumens is a high enough turbo to do the job. Looking into everybody’s suggestions. Turning into info overload!

    Non-conducting flashlight

Pelican and Streamlight look to have some possibilities. I know I’m being very picky. The Rayovac suggested is too fat. Why? Space in my tool bag is at a premium, so it’s gotta slide into its little slot or else it gets rejected, if that makes sense. Is there a reason plastic lights are...

    Non-conducting flashlight

Gorgeous. More than I want to spend on a light that will be dropped in the mud and stepped on. Brighter than I need too.

    Non-conducting flashlight

I do have an olight H2r nova which I LOVE. But I can’t wear a head light when I’m wearing an FR balaclava or full hard hat with face shield. And I wouldn’t trust myself just magneting a light to the side of some gear and not accidentally knocking it off inside. I use the olight ALL THE TIME on...

    Non-conducting flashlight

Hey folks. I’m looking for recommendations for a decent flashlight that is made of a non-conducting material. Sure, I could just buy some cheap plastic thing at Wally World. But I’m a little more particular. I’m an electrician, and there are times when I need to be inside a piece of live...

    The IDIOCY of Pink Phobia

Okay, so here’s something interesting to consider. Originally, something (we’ll go with razors just to choose one among many examples) was marketed to nobody in general, and it was assumed that men would be the buyer. Then, to differentiate from the pack, manufacturers made their product...

    The IDIOCY of Pink Phobia

Why pink? Is that a women-only color? Can I be just as irate about a lack of orange?

5G APOCALYPSE - THE EXTINCTION EVENT

Is this before or after our kitty overlords take over the world with their mind-controlling pathogen toxoplasmosis? I hope it’s before so I can go into it eyes wide open.
