SureFire didn't seem to be too impressed with the Cabela's clones. They sued Cabela's for patent infringement in 2011.
Surefire, LLC v. Cabela's Incorporated
State Civil Lawsuit
California Central District Court, Case No. 8:11-cv-01888-CJC-RNB
I feel your pain. :) My EDCL1-T is like you described, greenish on low, not as green on high. A few years ago SureFire tried to market the signature green tint as a feature since it was near the wavelength of light your eyes are most sensitive to.
See: Green tinted LED's being marketed as...
Surefire did release a successor, the UM2 Ultra, but by the time it finally came out production had been cancelled and it was marketed by a dealer as a closeout. Very nice light but 600 lumens max for two CR123A's was a little behind the times even in 2016.
See...
Yep, if that's the actual light, it's a prototype from the X serial number.
Here's my earlier thread about the E2LAA DSS: https://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?444691-SureFire-E2LAA-DSS-Outdoorsman-200-Lumens
Was there ever any SF successor to this light? AA batteries are...
I have a friend who is a surgeon with a similar supply of lithium primary AA cells. He uses them in battery powered orthopedic surgical tools like drills and saws. By local procedure they can only be used once and then 'discarded'. The patient is billed $40 a cell , insurance pays the...
I'm curious also. I need to get rid of SureFires, not buy them these days. Still, in the interest of science maybe... ;)
I had similar skepticism about early listings of the SureFire UM2. That light turned out to be the real deal but apparently cancelled early in the production run. I bought a...
Anyway, the pictures appear to me to be legit SF product photos. Several vendors (who might all be the same guy living in his parents' basement in pajama pants ;)) offer the gray and black Stiletto Pro.
You can Google the UPC: 084871329521
A couple of dealers on Amazon now have a gray and black variant of the Stilleto Pro listed for sale. I don't see it on the SureFire website.
Will orange, yellow or camo appear as with some earlier SF polymer lights?
And surprisingly to me, the EDCL1-T tailcap works on a late model EB1C clicky and gives the two-stage twisty and pushbutton operation as with the EB1T.
With the EB1C tailcap on the EDCL1-T I get clicky operation on high only.
The Backup MV with the Z68 tailcap on the left in the picture above...
Thanks! I don't get a download button in the U.S. with Edge or Chrome browsers but that URL you posted is exactly what I was looking for.
Here is the URL as a clickable link:

SureFire's 2020 catalog is posted online. Nothing much new on the flashlight side that I see:

Not sure how to display the pages in adult size on a high res screen. Is there a .pdf online somewhere to download perhaps?
Back to basics with military and LEO...
I've been using rechargeables in this light for a couple of years now with great results. However some folks including you have recently reported faulty mode changes with some batteries. Perhaps there has been a new driver circuit installed. My early EDCL1-T, EDCL2-T and EB1-MV all seem to run...
