    Ok- I have an app on my phone ofr the flashlight function. It's neat. But it's not e replacement for an actual light. It just doesn't have the output. But it's kinda cool for a back-up's back-up.

    List the BEST/WORST flashlight purchases you have made.

    I hate to say it, but my worst purchase was a Fenix PD32(I forget which LED version) I picked it up one day after owning it for 6 months and using it 20 times, only to find it dead. 18650 was still charged, fresh one- still dead. Oh, well.

    Thrunite drop in died.

    I tried the spring, w/o the spring (large One) and it still doesn't work. It's so weird- I just used it the night before last, set it down, picked it up yesterday and it doesn't work.

    After some research, it appears I purchased the drop in from Lighthound last february. I have an e-mail into them asking them for manufactures info.

    Probably not- got it off of eBay. I'll just chalk it up to lesson learned- I got what I paid for. I was aiming for a cheap Surefire 6P build, and the drop in was cheap. ($15.00, IIRC) I believe I will save my money and perhaps purchase a Malkoff, or a similar product, from an authorized dealer...

    New batteries, swapped out the head and tail cap for the original, all that. I just picked it up and tried to click it on- it just would not work. Swapped in the P60 incan bulb- lit right up in all configurations. Like I said- this drop in only has a ,limited amount of time on it- maybe 10-15...

    I was carrying a Nitecore Extreme for a couple of years, the picked up a Surefire E1B and it's been in my pocket ever since, for 8 months now.

    PD32 stopped working!!!

    I've got a relatively newWith only a week carried Fenix PD32. (Bought BNIB in November) Picked it up the other day- clicked it on, it stayed black. Checked the battery, it's good. Ttried another good battery, nada.It just won't turn on. Anyone else with this problem? HELP!!!:mad:
