    headlight for miner

For rugged environments most will recommend an armytek wizard pro xhp50, it is available in both cool and warm white. Regularly 95 dollars but you can get one for 65 at illumn using the code blacknovember.

Armytek wizard new snap in clip.

The clip certainly holds the light tight! No worries about it accidental getting knocked out. My only gripe is it might be too tight, it doesn't rotate as easily as the silicone headlamp. When I was adjusting the angle it would torque the whole clip off my head. It takes a more deliberate...

Armytek wizard new snap in clip.

I ordered one today for myself, dad and friend that have wizards to help break up the shipping cost. Looking forward to a quick change to handheld light if the situation calls for it! We'll see if it holds up over time but for the $6.50 I paid it's worth the gamble. Thanks for pics/reviews from...

    Durable headlamp for camping?

How about the Thrunite TH20? It runs on single AA and is solidly built. It has a 1.6 - 250 lumen range, where the brightness ramps up and down bell-curve style when you hold the button down.

If you are a member of the flashlight subReddit, user zeroair got a new coupon for the H03 yesterday. You can PM him on reddit to get the code.

Looking for a light that will my specifications

    I agree with the H03 recommendation, it's a steal at 30.

This is off topic but could someone summarize the u21 update or link me to information? I Googled and couldn't find anything.

Skilhunt H03 Headlamp Mods for Waist Light

Re: Skilhunt H03nw arrived If you power both lights with rcr that's 4 batteries every 50 minutes. If you need the light for say 8 hours that's 32 rcrs! Might need to push a wheelbarrow with all your batteries

Floody headlamp with warm color temp?

I think the Armytek employee is misinformed. CPF member Maukka does excellent reviews and measured the Astrolux A01 nichia 219b to be right around 3950K. I have an A01 and my Wizard Pro XHP50 Warm is warmer than the 3950K Astrolux. Here's a comparison pic, wizard on left and a01 on the right...

Floody headlamp with warm color temp?

I also have the xhp50 warm. I'd say it's around the 35 to 3600 mark. Noticeably warmer than my 4k nichia 219b, but quite a bit cooler than the incandescent house lights.

No problem, looking forward to your experiment results!

Skilhunt H03: CW or NW for trail running?

Widely accepted consensus is neutral to warm white for outdoor activities. Colors are represented more naturally and gives a better contrast for sharper detail of your surroundings rather than washing them out. Of course some will prefer cool white, but neutral gets the overall nod in outdoor...

Armytek Wizard Pro XHP50 V3 field use review.

I recently got my Pro XHP50 Warm, love the tint. I've played with it for a few days and didn't notice a bug until last night. Was fiddling and changing levels around, left it in Low 3 for about 5 minutes and then shut it off. When I shut it off though the button LED turned a solid green and I...

    Best lightweight headlamp

How about the single AA Thrunite TH20? Good brightness, neutral white, simple UI, on amazon for 30USD. Seems to hit most of the requirements. Edit: I now see you've chosen a light already. Hope she likes it!
