Order confirmation came in, Moddoolar Pocket - Black with Nichia 219, missed the XP-L that was already out of stock but quite happy about scoring this!

I got a black XP-L head and I am also super stoked! The awesome thing is, eventually, if you have the Nichia head, and want XP-L, you will be able to change it! A whole new level of Moddoolar! Simply awesome!

The 219B in the Wasp heads is very nice. The tint lacks all of the rosiness of the 219A used in the previous generation drop-in. The 4.1 output is more than adequate, so the increased output of the V5 should be very impressive.

If the 4000K of the XP-L matches the 4000K of the neutral XP-G2 (and I presume it will), I'll be supremely happy with it. The additional 2000 lumens will be icing on the cake, and should be un-freaking-real.

I'm very happy with the ability to have two different modes of operation. For EDC, I'll be using an 18650 (or 18500, or 18350) with four modes, ranging from ~.004% to max. When a weapon's involved, two 18350s (or two 18500s in a TL100) will get me single mode....100% awesomeness.

I'm in Switzerland and I'm patient. I am not sticking pins in voodoo dolls of all you lucky guys who have been able to snag these amazing lights.

I am a Moonlight fan! Woo Hoo!
Yeah, me too. It is great! Honestly had I received the previous version, though I would have loved having it, it would have been sold because moonlight is now a must have for me.

I thought I won the lottery this morning! Sitting outside a job at 8am, checked overready like I have every day for the wasp light to be available, AND IT SHOWED ONE IN STOCK! I filled out the selections as fast as possible, my smart phone then timed out on the cell network, so I left the job searching for a data signal, got one, added to my cart, tried to check out AND THE SITE WON'T LET ME!!! Says stock its capped at zero. I could not possibly be more disappointed. I sent them an email but I honestly can't see how I'm ever going to get my hands on one these fantastic lights. I'm completely bummed. Please take my money!!! LOL!

Sorry guys. A stocking glitch was showing a false 'available' and required manual fixing. We're working overtime to make this as fair as possible for everyone. I'm posting as many as I can build at a time. One batch remains of 9 heads, going up next week. After that, it will be another wait for new parts to arrive.

When I look at these Wasps on the OR Moddoolar page, they don't have the type of LED listed there in the config list.
It's like buying something that you don't even know what it is.
How do we know if it is a XPL, or cool or warm, or 219, or what?
No info listed as far as I see.

Sorry, please try again. You should now see this in the options:

Light Engine 1. Triple R33 219B HCRI (21w)
2. Triple R33 Redome XPL (30w)

Both options are neutral, about 4500k. When I've caught up with other priorities, I'll have time to test the custom color on the XPL and can list that as well.
