Just an update on that "safe" bag.
As I mentioned, I feel the TM16 is too big to holster/belt mount. So I just wanted a bag to keep it safe when in transit. This bag is a snug fit. You can pack some spare batteries in the top lid and down the sides of the main torch body.
It does have options for strapping to a belt or rucksack, and comes with a shoulder strap.

Nice fitting. Unfortunatly, amazon usa doesn't have it. I bought the holster from HKE and it is very small and cheap quality. The first they had (above) seemed better built. Now the news is thrunite brand instead of supbeam.

I think I would carry it head down. That would make it easier to grab when pulling it out, and lower the center of gravity so that it might be willing to stand on its own.

I actually do have it head down. I took the photo's to show the snug fit. Head down allows me to carry extra battery packs around the handle etc. Cheers though :)
