Very sleek, almost bullet like design. Gorgeous finish.
Stainless is a great option for a functional and good looking light.
The only drawback of stainless is that I tend to be more concerned with cosmetic damage - I don't want scratches...the finish looks too nice.

I like the design look. It reminds me of a big bullet, but I could be biased.
I'm partial to Ti, but I'm open minded to SS.
I generally avoid the extra weight and softness of Stainless Steel.

i think the light looks very appealing, and I appreciate the small form factor for 500 lumen output, seems very pocket friendly and I've been needing a little tiny pocket rocket

stainless steel is durable and keeps the cost down so it works

perhaps due to weight or preferred titanium/copper preferences, but I'm not picky.

I like stainless steel for pocket carry. Anodized aluminum can scratch away. Stainless steel looks good even when scratched.

• Why you don't choose a Stainless Steel Flashlight?

Weight, heat sinking, and price on a stainless steel flashlight are sometimes worse than on a similar aluminum model.

I like the trit slot, and the electronic tail switch is recessed to allow tail standing... Hopefully it also is unlikely to activate accidentally. The thermal regulation sounds like a good feature as well. Thank you for including a Moonlight mode, and for not starting on Medium. Low, medium, and high in that order is good! Starting on Moonlight would be better...

How do you love Stainless Steel Flashlight?
SS is generally sturdy and resist scratches... So for small lights, where weight isn't an issue, I like stainless steel.

Why you don't choose a Stainless Steel Flashlight?
SS is heavy, and heat dissipation can be a problem. But perhaps you have found a solution to the latter challenge. Tell us more about the copper sleeve inside the body...

I stated the positives above, here are some negatives: the flame motif etched into the (copper? gold?) band could be classier if it were more symmetrical and stylized. A clip would be useful, or absenting that -- another anti-roll feature machined into the head/body. The light looks slippery...

For a light of this size, titanium is a good option or maybe copper...

I'm starting to think of this as a good light for around the house. The size looks like it would be comfortable for that sort of use. Since it is compatible with RCR123, it can be powered cheaply, and the relatively small battery capacity won't be an issue when there are spared close at hand. Accidental activation isn't a problem when a light lives on the nightstand or mantle. Storing it bezel down will prevent rolling and leave the trit visible.

Again, for around the house use, it should take a lot of abuse.

For many uses outside of the house, I like to have the ability to mechanically lock out the light so it will not turn on accidentally in my pocket.

I like the artful design of the Torpedo, and who among us that grew up with James Bond can dislike anything with "007" in the title?

I like SS light for their heft and unusual nature

Don't choose more because of their inferior heat transfer
