M6 is much larger than 26XXX diameter cells and what you will get here is a flashlight E head body and tail cap for $66 not just a tail cap for almost same price.

Sound's good, fivemega. I'll find something to use as a sconce to tailstand it. It is bound to become my daily bedside lamp due to runtime. I've never seen an M6 irl, but thanks to you, I'll be getting one eventually if your 2x26650 M6 inserts last a little while longer.

You could possibly build a tailstand.
f.e. something like my crude example here,

but I can also "see":
a (round) wooden base plate + 3 (minimum) rods in the diameter of the recessions where the end cap fits in nicely.
the whole thing with some paint ... maybe even becoming a nice style-element around the bed.

Judging the size of the body by the diameter of the Elite head, the bottle I have in mind should work, the head should peak out the top with the body snug in the mouth, and it has a wide bottom for stability. And if it doesn't fit, I can cut off the top of the bottle. It won't be pretty, but it should do. Trouble here is a rescue kitten that bats over anything standing. If they'll be standing awhile, I'll usually keep even tailstanding lights in a medicine bottle sconce to give them more stability in case of kitten-batting. But your mockup is very creative, yellow. I'd like one in tungsten.

if You use that body, You also have to have an e-series head.
Don't You then need an e-series 18650 body also?

Has very agressive knurling - which You once typed You like.

That integral body (body + switch being one item) is about the smallest possibility to get an 18650 light.
--> when they are gone, they will be gone

I bought 7 fivemega 18350 (5, gifted 2, broke 1) & 18500 (2, gifted 1) E head E tail. Also, I have a Makoff 2AA and LF Classic E2. And two PK designed tailless Vital Gear, 3xCR123 or 2AA, and 1xCR123A or 16340. Also UBH. And I traded the LED heads off an E2L AA and DSS. Everything has SF Elite heads except the Malkoff, which has an LF smoothie, and the E2, which has an LF Elite. I have to pick up another head for the 26670 from LF. And I need to get a cell, but I'm saving up for a large battery buy from Vapcell, wholesale, 66 cells total 4x IFR26650, 4x K62 INR26650, 12x A20 INR26350, 10x F58 INR21700, 10x N36 INR18650, 16x N24 INR18500 & 10x F14 INR18350, probably in April or May. I've probably already bought $300 in lamps off him, and there's about $600 in odds and ends, hardware and lamps, I'll be purchasing from fivemega this year.

If there's a buyer, fivemega should sell them something. Expand, grow, be fabulously wealthy. Every home in Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica should have a fivemega product or ten. Merchandise. T-shirts, ball caps, key chains, coffee mugs, breakfast cereals, pro sports teams, stadiums and fivemega: The Movie. That's just good business. Creating rarity puts nothing whatsoever in his pocket. Not everyone can be Pablo Picasso and there could be only one Salvador Dali. Just my humble and small-minded opinion.

And I really think he should do another run of D26 G4 Sunlight. And E sockets. Who's with me?
